I went to this hairdressing salon after someone recommended it. As a long standing customer of a central London salon, I was a bit nervous of changing especially as I live in London and wasn’t sure I could commit to the travelling. However I am ecstatic with the results! Not only do I love the quality of the extensions after a few months of going, I have noticed that my own hair has grown much longer, much thicker and in better condition as a result of the protection of the excellent quality of the extensions and the gentle removal/refitting of them by the House of Hair staff. Impressed with my extensions I recently had my colour and a Keratin treatment done here, which I love and am very happy with. You get what you pay for - H of H is excellent value for money, professional and definitely worth the drive !

I have been a regular customer for about 2-3 years now. Before visiting The House of Hair I had tried lots of other salons until I found this one. A Fabulous experience at The House of Hair Milton Keynes with Drew and the crew. I love this salon. Drew (salon owner) always puts up with my fussy ways, me changing my mind a lot and even after that he just does what I want, offers his wise advise and them gets it right every time! I go to Andrew at the House of Hair regularly so not only do I get to experience the salon for myself but also I see how the staff are with other customers. I can honestly say the house of hair is not only lovely and relaxing but all of the staff are very friendly and attentive! The House of Hair is a welcoming hairdressers, which I have been going to since it opened. It is home from home, the staff are lovely and will cater to your needs. If you’re unsure what to do with your hair which I am regularly, you can have a consultation with your hairdresser on where to begin. When you arrive in the HOH, the team is prompt to get you in a chair or your hair washed, I must mention the quality of the hair wash as the stylist will spend time washing your hair with a complimentary massage. I have Afro hair but, all stylist’s are confident and do not panic when they see my hair absorbing the water! I always walk out happy with my hair and after having many positive experiences I always recommend the HOH to all.

Lovely salon, fab results! Had my hair coloured and cut by Annmarie today. She was absolutely fantastic. She listened to exactly what I wanted to have done and guided me to take the best decisions to work my way to the final result. What she achieved already in my first session exceeded my expectations. I arrived with super dark (almost black) hair and left the salon with beautiful golden tones through my hair (see image). Cant wait to return to the salon soon to continue my hair journey and have another great experience.

I had kelly as my stylist and she fitted me in after salon hours to make sure I had my hair done for a relatives funeral. She was so lovely and kind and was very honest with what I needed done with my hair (no other hair stylists have done this with me before). When I arrived, the hair stylist was ready to start straight away, there were no delays. My temperature was taken, hand sanitiser was used, masks were worn. There were screens in between customers and plenty of space. Staff were friendly and helpful as per normal! Stylist continued to check what I wanted before doing it to make sure I was happy. I find it so hard to find a salon that i will go again to, i have been to all kinds of high end salons in MK and the house of Hair has by far been the best i have been to, my hair was done by Kelly. i was gobsmacked at the results, i was inlove with the work she had done, she was friendly, professional, and really good at what she does. i went in with broken, brown hair, and came out with Ashy, white toned blonde. it also looked really healthy. whilst i was getting my hair done i had Drew (works at the salon) next to me doing hair, he is so funny and lovely to speak with, the way he does hair is just amazing. so if you not only want good hair but a good atmosphere go to 'The house of hair'

I am not your typical customer, as a previous bad experience over 10 years ago gave me anxiety with any frequenting hair salons. After growing my hair, and using the same home hairdresser for the last 9 years, I was stuck in the old-style rut. Moving from my 20s into my 30s with the same old look, I felt this was holding me back from growing as a person. Then I was recommended to visit “The House of Hair”. Reserved and apprehensive, it took a lot for me to call and book an appointment. I knew I wanted a change, a huge change – a total restyle. However, armed with my new style choice which I found on Pinterest, I was not sure or expecting to have that style replicated. I just knew anything close was going to be a change. I enquired about a few different things - Highlights, Ombre, Lighter shades - when really, I didn't know what I was asking for... then followed my informative hair education by Andrew as to what and how he would replicate my chosen style onto my own hair. It sounded easy and straight forward – but I was still nervous. A tasty coffee to steady my nerves and then the 'style change' process was underway. Part of my anxiety is people watching whilst feeling vulnerable but I was warmly spoken to by all the staff and felt at ease, with the team entertaining me with laughs and smiles while my transformation took place. Transformation .. WOW - I look and feel like the Pinterest model, I was more than happy to pose for a picture. "I am a new found selfie queen after discovering myself in a new hairstyle" All credit to Andrew, thank you for founding a beautiful salon, employing the kindest and friendliest staff and more importantly reinventing a lady into her 30's! You have certainly worked your magic on not only my hair! but my self-confidence. I can't wait for my next 'Andrew Effect' appointment. I will never have that salon anxiety again or ever go anywhere else. One truly happy client.
