The hairdressers are very clued in and know their stuff, though I do wish there was slightly less focus on shaming people into buying products, as it sours the experience somewhat. If you are a customer, I urge you to have a set budget and be firm and be vocal in sticking to it. Edit: After a chat with Paul, I have amended the review from 3 to 4 stars, as I understand that the salon is very passionate about hair care. However, I do still believe that a hair salon should be slightly more flexible when it comes to accommodating a client, and a consultation should offer more advice than two options (one of which may involve going totally over budget for the client).

I was looking for a saloon where I can get my hair coloured and cut it was my first time getting hair coloured in saloon usually I do it at home by my mum but unfortunately my mum is ill so I had to go to saloon. Suddenly I saw this saloon and I went in I was very welcomed by jack he was absolutely wonderful he checked how much my hair was damaged by a machine then he suggested what shampoo to use and he coloured my hair gave me a hair treatment and an wonderful haircut. I am not going anywhere else Jack your an amazing person and thank you so much for everything you did for me.

Hes done my hair a few times now an each time its done its absolutely stunning and perfect😍 yesterday we went from a blonde balayage to a blue balayage. Totally enjoyable experience in salon. I cannot rate Paul and the team at Collective Hair and Beauty highly enough. Paul has looked after my hair for over 20 years and every time I visit Paul I still get the most amazing experience as a client. He listens to everything I tell him, provides great advice and always makes me feel a million dollars. Paul’s professionalism is outstanding. I have also recently had the most fabulous VIP Black Diamond facial with the lovely Emmy. She is another credit to the team, her professionalism is also outstanding. I have been visiting collective hairdressing for a good few years now. Paul and the team who looked after my hair over the years have always listened to my queries and gave friendly advices. My hair has always looked amazing after my appointments hence I’m always returning because I know I will be looked after well. The salon is extremely clean, staff are professional and friendly and the products they use are of an extremely high salon quality and treatments are reasonably priced. Recently they have introduced the 5 steps consultation + the salon lab smart hair analyzer, this was a good way for me to find out about the in depth condition of my hair and I was able to discuss about my hair needs and decide what is important for me. I've been a regular at Collective Hairdressing for nearly two years and every experience has been lovely! They always make sure their clients feel welcomed and listened to, and communicate during every step of the process. They never sacrifice quality for quick results and are very honest about what can be achieved session to session for the best results and minimal damage. They are very knowledgeable about hair care and protection, always ready to answer questions, and even helped me find gentle products for my sensitive scalp. I always go to Jack for my hair, who gets a special mention for always doing an amazing job, but everyone at the salon is so lovely and welcoming! It's truly a great salon, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair after going there. Also, if you like having your nails done, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Emy! She is super qualified and did an amazing job with my nails :)

I cant praise this hairdressers and beauty services enough. Firstly I had my Diamond BeautyLab facial with Emy undertaking the facial. I also had included in the facial the Microneedles. My skin looks and feels fantastic. I also have had my eyebrows reshaped a couple of weeks ago by Emy, using the threading technique and they look amazing. I have already rebooked my next appointment. Next Paul did my colouring and cut and as usual it looks fantastic. Paul is such a talented professional and always ensures my hair looks perfect. I wouldnt go anywhere else for both hair and beauty.

I had a pervious bad experience at a different salon, so did my research before attending this salon. Great advice was given to me and Jack is very friendly offering lots of advice. Jack told me he would need to cut my hair and take 4 inches off. However, he actually has took about 7 inches my lovely hair is now short and I have had a lot of comments it is not straight 😥. My hair was so damaged off colouring over the years.... I went to this Salon with my hair concerns and asked if they could help me get my hair in healthier condition .... This Salon uses a hair Analyzer tool when I first started going my hair scored only 12 on the tool! !!! The team have been treating my hair with treatments etc over my last few visits and explaining the correct shampoo & conditioner and weekly treatments to use at home as well as recommending some Hair Gummie vitamins too.. . On Saturday 26th June at my latest appointment I had highlights cut and blow dry and the team used the Analyzer tool again to see if my hair is in better condition.... I'm so happy to report it's now gone up to 58 it is in so much better condition than it was in 🙌 I'm so happy with the service I have received at this salon the team are so friendly and caring and helpful and make you feel at ease. Oh and I just liove your massage chairs ...so relaxing I literally could have fallen asleep.... I used to find going to the hairdressers very stressful but thanks to team collective I'm now so looking forward to my next visit and fingers crossed higher read on their Analyser tool. They have beauty rooms now too and beauty therapist so I will be booking in for my eyebrows too on my next visit .... Thank you so much for your 5 star service see you all soon.

I have had two fantastic experiences here so far. Both times Jade did my hair and she was fantastic! The first time I could only park for an hour so she only had 40 minutes to wash, cut and style my hair the first time she met me and she did not disappoint. She was amazing! So professional and knowledgeable and the way she dried my hair was fabulous! On my second visit she coloured my hair. My hair is damaged at the moment so she talked me through what she suggested and did a full head of colour darker than I usually have and a full head of highlights. All products she used were wonderful and she took her time and did such a brilliant job. The way she dries hair is the best I've ever had! The whole process from the start filled me with confidence, this is a salon that knows their stuff. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Alex's cut is exactly what I wanted and I feel so much better about my hair. I highly recommend this salon, I felt listened to and very comfortable throughout. For anyone with mobility needs, the staff were very accommodating and more than happy to help. This is not a criticism of the salon but just a heads up about accessibility; there is no lift because of the realities of the building itself. I managed with my walking stick but I wouldn't be able to bring my wheelchair.

Great Colour By Kenny Clayton & Company Hairdresers Kenny really listens to what you want from him and delivers, I was dissatisfied with a previous colour and after a consultation with Kenny we agreed to use a number of colours to tone my hair down. I was really worried about the condition but was advised that the product he would use would not further damage my hair and he was right. Had the keratin revolution treatment with Paul today. As someone with particularly compromised hair (bleach / heat styling) Paul has absolutely worked magic with my hair and i'm totally over the moon with the results. This is actually been my second trip to the salon, after having some other treatments done with Chloe, another talented hair stylist in the salon. Its very clear that the staff here are passionate about hair, and get just as excited as you to see hair results and outcomes. This is not your typical salon that gives you any old run-of-the-mill treatments, they listen to what you want, ask you in-depth questions regarding your 'dream hair' and ultimately take their time to achieve it. Oh... and did I mention the massage chairs beside the sinks? Such a game changer in the salons I've been to. Massive thanks to the team!
