Went here after a bad experience with a different barbershop. The woman who cut my hair was very friendly and conversational. Cut was very tidy and the way i wanted, she also gave great advice on the style i was going for as longer hair styles is new to me. Would definitely go back, life savers.

This is a brilliant gentleman’s barbers… Alison who cut my hair and done my beard trim is a lovely person and a fantastic barber… I use this barber on a regular basis and do not go anywhere else … plus the owner Christine Isint too bad either 😉😂 … on a serious note brilliant hair cuts friendly service I would highly recommend x

Wonderful gentleman's barbers with outstanding staff who are caring, patient and attentive. I went recently during the coming out of lockdown and the shops is being managed wonderfully with a sign-in and compulsory hand cleansing station. The recent renovation looks amazing and these photos truly don't do it justice, well done to the people who made this look how it does now!! The prices of cuts is honestly underpriced for the quality of care gone into the place and the friendly service you get. I can highly recommend here to anyone

I have used this barbers for 6 yrs, there was a few ups and downs with staff changes, but for the past couple of years it’s been absolutely great, Christine and Fiona make this shop with while, Christine has just given it a make over and it looks absolutely fantastic, so much better than the old and dated look of wood everywhere. This place is now fresh and unique with staff that go the extra mile to accommodate their customers. I won’t be going anywhere else, I have been to other branches but they don’t have the same friendly appeal. Give the Benton shop a go you won’t be disappointed.

My regular barbers! Great location, always a friendly service and adopting the approach to having a regular barber out of the staff team means a consistent great cut as they know how you prefer to style and have your hair cut. Will be back soon no doubt!

My first review ever.....Lived in Newcastle for 3 years now (moved up for uni and work). Started getting my haircut here a few months ago and wish I'd found this place earlier. Danny has cut my hair a few times now and always leave happy, really nice guy and knows his stuff.. have never been sure what to ask for and he was able to give me some advice on cutting and styling. Over the moon with the service and experienced barbers here. Thanks again guys.

Had to make an appointment after 'walking in' and came back later. They were running late but once in the chair and chatting I was told you could make appointments via Facebook and the number I'd tried to contact them on was old but they didn't know how to delete it. Girls workng were chatty, friendly and competent. Now that I know how to book I think I've found my new barbers.

Just had my hair cut by Danny. This is the second time he's done it and on both occasions I've left really happy. He takes the time to give you the cut you want, and gives advice on how to style it etc. too. Too many barbers just give all their customers the same short back and sides but it isn't the case here. Plus the prices are really reasonable. Highly recommended.

If you want a 1st class haircut, whether it be traditional or something inventive this is the place. Just got my hair cut by Danny today. He does a great haircut and gives close attention to detail. Unlike many other barbers Danny gives close attention to detail and advice on styling and products. Cheers Danny

Just had my haircut here for the first time. I have tried a number of barbers whilst up at uni but I have found one to stick to here! I am very impressed, got exactly what I asked for with the haircut and will definitely be back to see Danny again soon.

Been going for over 2yrs, staff changed and standards of cut and attitude have gone downhill. Great news though!!! Old staff out and new manager and staff in, feels like a great and friendly place again plus a great haircut.

Recently moved to the area and ive been looking for my 'local' go to barbers. Safe to say ive found it here. Reasonable priced cuts and friendly staff. He also managed to do a good job on my hair as my crown is a nightmare and it was his first time cutting mine. Definitly will be returning.

My eldest son has heavey jet black hair with a double crown, ive always had a hard time finding him a style, suited for high school and as confidence boost. Left in the capable hands of Vicky a week i was so impressed with her work, and over the moon with my sons hairstyle, even he is and he now manages it really well. One of this issues with Barbours is the lack of experience, not here! Great haircuts every time and very reasonable pricing along with very friendly staff
