Can't recommend Richie and his shop highly enough, been going for over a year before having to shave what I might add was a fantastic beard off after being in intensive care with the lurgy or covid for short for three months. First trip back after starting to grow it back and looking like Bob Ross with his head on upside down and Richie has got it looking sweet again. If you can grow a beard get it looked after at OB'S lads.

Went into OB for the first time and had a brilliant experience. As a girl walking into a barbers, I sometimes feel intimidated and out of place, but here this was not the case at all. My barber (can't remember his name, was the Cypriot lad) was patient, friendly, explained what he was doing at every point, and gave me the freshest fade. He even stayed past his shift to make sure he'd done my hair to the best standard. I would 100% recommend this barbers.

I've been going there for slightly more than a year now. Honestly one of the best barbers in Newcastle to get your hair cut. Good and clean atmosphere, great service. I do not know what the other 1 star reviewers are saying but the staff and owner, Ricci are great in cutting your hair to your needs and even better to have a chat with. Recommend 10/10

Every time I go to OB barbers I come out delighted with the time they take perfecting my hair and beard, instead of rushing it, and could honestly say they always give me a much better cut than anywhere else I have ever been. Also, the team they have there are great and are really friendly as soon as you walk in. Would definitely recommend!

Have been loyally going to OB for a little under 2 years after moving to Newcastle for university - they always ensured a top drawer haircut, never ever left disappointed... Have always despised getting my hair cut but honestly never dreaded going to OB and that is really saying something for me! Would highly, highly recommend if you're looking to get your hair cut in Newcastle, they listen to what you want and genuinely care about giving you a class cut - actually gutted to have left Newcastle, mainly because I'll need to find a new barbers hahah - class work and if I'm ever back, I know where I'll be going 👏🤙

After having decided to to growth a beard a few months ago I decided I needed it trimmed as it was looking a mess. Went to OB barbers today and they were fantastic, clearly knew what they were doing and were very skilled. My beard now looks just how I wanted it to and the staff were friendly and helpful. I've been using OB's for nearly 2 years now, I regularly go to get my beard tidied up and the lines neatened up - The craic is good, atmosphere is always welcoming, fairly priced and a bit of good advice has stopped me getting in-grown hairs - Can't ask for more really. Highly recommended!

A great contemporary barbers' shop for the discerning man. I normally hate getting my hair cut because I rarely feel comfortable in this environment, but OB is a different beast. I got a haircut I like in a great environment for a reasonable sum. I shall be back...

Would be 5 stars, but unfortunately every time I go it's a wheel of fortune of what trim you're going to get. You either get Richard or Darius and get a fire cut, or you get someone new and inexperienced on the end who doesn't really know what they're doing, which is really annoying. Overall really nice place, just would be nice if there was some consistency.

Great barber, I don't go to anyone else now, I'm generally very conscious of who cuts my hair with me receding faster than the tide but I always have a great cut from Richard who knows exactly what I want and need!
