Rachelle has been styling my hair for the last 10 years + she is an amazing stylist and a beautiful person. I wouldn't go to anyone else. Along work Matty and Tom, Rachelle makes the Junk Yard a fab,friendly,funky salon to visit. If you want a trim, restyle or advice I'd 100% recommend these guys ❤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 - AMAZING SERVICE I’ve had loads of problems trying to get my hair the colour I wanted with multiple different hairdressers. My friend recommended The Junkyard and I’m so glad I bit the bullet and decided to try again. I seen Tom who can I say, is a hair colour GENIUS! I was given realistic expectations with regards to the colour I wanted in my consultation, which due to problems elsewhere I really appreciated! (I wanted to go more or less from black to dark red). Cut a long story short, I was seen with outstanding professionalism and within a few hours, I left speechless. Not only had he managed to successfully lift it, he got the colour absolutely spot on. My hair is and was in outstanding condition. I went back for my follow up roughly 7 weeks later and had decided to go even brighter. My faith has been completely restored. I was so sad having so many failed attempts, I pretty much convinced myself I’d never have the hair I so desperately wanted. I can’t recommend these guys enough. They are all so lovely! If you want honest, professional, friendly, outstanding service, book yourself in here!

I had visited various salons over years, constantly struggling to get my dream blue hair. Until I discovered these guys, absolute colour wizards!!! They truly understand the processes needed to achieve funky coloured hair, something I don't think the average salon get much practice doing. They are so helpful advising on aftercare too. I'll never look back - so talented. The decor and atmosphere in the salon is amazing too 🖤

Its a pleasure getting my hair done at The Junkyard. The Studio smells utterly divine, its visually stunning - check out the Photography on your way to having your hair washed! and the staff are friendly and talented, nothing is too much bother and they obviously love what they do when you see the passion they have. Highly recommended!

These guys are awesome! I was visiting Newcastle for a wedding, so booked in for a blow-dry with Tom (who is lovely!!) on the morning of the wedding. My hair looked amazing and stayed intact for the whole day! One of the best blow-dries I've had!

Got my hair cut here for the first time today by a lovely girl called Cat. She gave a recommendation for a style I hadn't tried before so I let her do her thing and I'm very happy with the results! Cat was also incredibly easy and fun to chat with during the cut. Atmosphere in the building is excellent and the staff all seemed very friendly. A+ :)

The only hairdressers I have ever been comfortable in attending. Toria is and always will be my hairdresser of choice, she does exactly what I want even down to red beards bleach blonde hair and anything weird and wonderful. 5 out of 5 couldn't be anything else.
