I went here to get my hair dyed for the first time ever (going from natural blonde to copper/auburn)and must say it's one of the best ever experiences I've had at a salon. Charlotte coloured my hair, but first took the time to discuss exactly how I wanted it to look and helped me to understand what the final result might look. This consultation took about a half hour and I'm so happy it did - she really took the time to explain the technical elements and offered her professional opinion which I appreciated. The colour is exactly what I had in mind and I'm so happy that I went to this salon. Plus, the washing station is a dream! Most relaxed I've ever been getting my hair washed with that luxurious massage chair. If you're a little nervous about haircuts/colouring then go here, you will not be disappointed!!!

A very busy saloon at the heart of the city. Definitely need an appointment to get the hair done at any time of year. All the people who work there are so friendly. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while they are dressing your hair. I definitely love to go there again. For now they are doing Beard for men. Hope they start it soon. It was a lovely experience!

After not getting my hair done properly I came here for damage control. Amy did the wand curls BEAUTIFULLY, and even walked me all the way to the taxi rank, helping to carry my bags. I would return and highly recommend. You WILL get what you pay for.

I'm quite wary when it comes to getting my hair cut, having had some previously terrible cuts when switching salons! I moved up north the past few weeks and in desperate need of a haircut and major restyle (I went from hip length hair to a bob), I chose to take the plunge and try a new hairdresser. Based on the existing reviews I selected Tanya in the booking process, and was not disappointed. From the off, Tanya gave great advice, discussed restyle options, and what would suit my personal style and lifestyle. Real thought and care was put into my restyle, and I actually chose a slightly different style choice based on the advice given. I am so pleased with my new style, and think it might actually be my best ever cut! Would highly recommend - especially Tanya.

I really like this place. My hair is curly and Stella does a great job. She always asks me what do I want and discusses her ideas with me before cutting. Shampoo is thorough and they even have a chair massage while they wash your hair. I highly recommend her for a hair cut if you have curly/wavy hair. Top place in Newcastle

I went to Toni&Guy Newcastle today for my post lockdown hair colour & cut - it's been a year and a half since I had it done and BOY it needed some TLC. Everyone took the time to properly discuss what I wanted doing with my hair, as well as making suitable suggestions. I AM IN LOVE with the result. The colour is a really soft brunette that compliments the existing darker tone, and the cut is exactly what I imagined, in fact it's better than the pictures I brought! It's easy to underestimate how a good haircut can make someone feel, but I genuinely felt a million dollars when it was all done. The staff were very attentive & professional - thank you so much ♥️ I'll be back~

Very rushed service and busy environment. I had my hair washed , cut then dried but not styled in any way. I left the salon with half straight half wavey frizzy hair and not feeling as though I had been to the hairdressers - I felt a bit scruffy rather than beautified. Pretty pricey for the service to be honest

Put a relaxer on my hair which completely damaged my hair to the point I thought I was going to have it all cut off into a pixie cut. The staff at Toni and Guy were absolutely amazing, Sam who done my hair and Lewis who helped did such an amazing job and we’re so friendly and only having to have it cut shoulder length was such a relief. They honestly worked wonders on my hair and did such an amazing job, thank you so much Toni and Guy!!!

I've been going to Toni & Guy Newcastle for years since it was in Monument Mall. Katie has been doing my hair for years now and does it perfect every time. The staff are always on time, always friendly and always helpful. It might be expensive but you get what you pay for, a top quality service.
