Thank you Sophie for my first real haircut and the lovely lady who gave me the head massage. I appreciate the fact that you didn’t mind me pretty much sleeping the whole time and not having to chat. I love the cut and so does my mum (she got blonde highlights and cut). Will definitely come back and tell my friends about your place.

Omg I had my first appointment here on Saturday and totally amazed! I have long ginger hair which is hard to colour, other hairdressers have tried and failed to dye my hair, some just refused to try, but I went in to ask about an appointment and was greeted by Lou, she asked me to sit down and she did a strand test to see if she could get the shade of blonde I wanted for my balayage and she also done a skin test to see if I have a reaction to the dye. I didn’t have a reaction and went back to see how my strand test went and it was the perfect shade. On Saturday as I have a lot of hair it took a long time but was worth every minute, I’ve always hated my ginger hair but walked out of there loving it! I honestly could not believe that it was my hair! It’s so gorgeous even now every time I pass a mirror, I’m like omg its amazing! Lou is so young but so talented! I’m never going else where and my mum saw my hair, now she knows where she going lol! I can’t thank Lou enough, I never knew I could love my hair this much, Ive added the before and after photos she took as now you can see how talented she is and definitely book an appointment! Thanks again Lou!

My experience at Take 2 today was wonderful thanks to the guy on the desk and Sophie. It was a trip down memory Lane for me because for 6 years I wouldn’t let anyone touch my hair other than T2, but then I moved to the mainland and got comfortable in my new town with a hairdresser for twenty years. She upped and left for Portugal!! I was rather panic struck because I’ve had to keep my hair long to be a character in the Ventnor Comic Jazz Band for the Queen’s Jubilee, but now my hair has become misshapen and a bush. So today I was scared but Sophie was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted and checked throughout the cut that I was happy with how it was going. If you’re undecided as to where to get a haircut, choose Take 2. You won’t be disappointed x

BRILLIANT! I have just been fortunate enough to have my hair styled at Take 2 for the first time as I am new in the area. Take 2 , I wish to say 2 thank yous. 1) for a superb cut and style by Marie. I am so thrilled with the result. How refreshing to be attended to by somebody who really knows what they are doing. Thanks for all hair advice also. In addition, what a joy to be looked after by a stylist who offers an intelligent conversation peppered with super humour. Marie you are a star. 2) Thanks so much as well to the reception staff who, firstly, made an effort to accommodate me and then, showed a warm welcome and a kind farewell when I departed. Wonderful experience today with the lovely Sophie. Had full head of foils with ends trimmed, and the end result was beautiful. Thank you for your time today everyone. I have been here a few times and always come out feeling a million dollars. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help, no bitchiness which you sometimes get in hairdressers! I love the products they use and the salon is clean and comfortable. You can tell the owners and staff really take pride in their business. I will be visiting again.

I managed to get a last minute appointment at take two on Saturday. I had a complete restyle by Sue after years of the same bland style. It looks great, she spent a long time cutting as my hair is very thick, the end result is fab!! Thank you very much sue x

Lovely Aveda products are used and they smell gorgeous. Whilst the conditioner is working, you are usually offered a head, neck and shoulder massage which leaves you feeling wonderfully relaxed. The lovely, friendly staff give great advice over styles and colours, and the Aveda colours are beautiful. I always leave feeling happy.
