Not only did my hair turn out - probably for the first time ever - exactly how I wanted it, but the service I received from the minute I called to tell them I was going to be late was just incredible. Love this salon! Everyone is so friendly and my hair always looks amazing when I leave! Codi does a fab job every time and I’ve had so many compliments. UPDATED DURING COVID-19 Went for my first haircut since December. Well set up to ensure social distancing can happen. Staff were still very friendly and felt safe there despite all that is going on and hair still looks amazing after!

Barbarella are amazing! I'm a regular client, but visited the salon yesterday for my regular 6 week appointment. They're never running late, make sure you're always comfortable and have everything that you need the entire time you're there. Heidi is great! She always listens to what I want, makes suggestions or tells me if something may not work due to colour limitations. I will never go to a different hairdresser's now!

I visited the salon for the first time after a hair disaster. Too much bleach had killed the ends of my hair and reluctantly the only thing to do was have a bit of a chop! My hair grows so slowly this was a hard decision to make but Heidi was brilliant. She listened and understood that I only wanted the absolute necessary to be taken off, and although I came out an inch or so shorter, it's saved my hair breaking anymore in the meantime. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and there was a great relaxed atmosphere within the salon. I'm heading back for a colour and I'm even considering going for a more drastic cut!

It wasn't my first visit - which it already speaks for itself! I had the appointment with Stewart - which I learnt was his first day at Barbarella. Stewart listened carefully, offered advice and even gave me written instructions regarding my hair care :) The haircut itself - I wasn't very adventurous and literally just wanted a split ends trim to end up with a low maintenance result - exceeded my expectations. It is a simple, nice cut which I can easily manage - exactly how I wanted. Thank you :)

Absolutely brilliant hairdressers, and so friendly too! It's hard to find a hairdresser that makes you feel comfortable and does a good job at the same time, but with these, it's safe to say I've found it! Must recommend; I'll be using them for years to come!

The staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere inside is nice and I saw some very lovely haircuts going on; the issue happens to be with my own. I wanted to keep my hair long, so I only had a centimetre or so cut off to tidy it up, but the large change was that I wanted to dye my hair from dark brown to a red balyage. I spoke to two stylists who suggested a type of dye that then when washed out we all realised had not changed by hair colour at all. My hair has the faintest red tint under florescent lighting, not at all the vibrant red I had asked for. I did get a discount on this, but the price was still expensive for what turned out to be no change. Some of the other dying I saw looked great, on the other hand. So, I imagine it was just a mistake but I wasn't thrilled with the result. It was like paying £57 for someone to wash my hair for me.

Booked appointment via phone for my teenage son hair trim, gave info on what he wanted doing for his hair, (my son has long hair) we got a quoted £26, turned up to appointment, he was given an expensive stylist that was going to charge over £40, we almost got conned in to paying it, in the end it did get sorted out and costed £10. while we was waiting, my husband asked for a coffee and received a tea, he asked for a second cup of coffee but the hairdresser didn't bring him a second cup and started doing something else. With the comment I have received, I don't think we will be using this hair dressers again, there are plenty more hair dressers in this town and around the country we can use and for the comment, you are down to 1star,
