Second visit to Charlie and I have never seen my son sit still and be calm for as long, with a fixed smile on his face throughout. Haircuts are usually traumatic, though Charlie has the magic touch.

Fantastic experience today taking my autistc son for a haircut. He usually hates getting his hair cut and it can be quite a traumatic experience for everyone. I made Charlie aware of this prior to the appointment and she was brilliant with him. Made him feel comfortable and relaxed and spoke to him throughout, no tears and he left in a good mood with the best cut he has ever had. The atmosphere is clean, friendly and relaxed and was nice and quiet which also helped. Very pleased, thank you Charlie, we will most definitely be back again :)

I moved from the North East in 2011 and because I'm fussy, it took me ages to find a decent barber who would style it how I liked. Found them 3 year ago and never dreamed of going anywhere since. Charlie and the team are amazing and provide a cool, friendly, relaxing environment where you can either get stuff off your chest or just have a good laugh. 1st time getting a haircut in Northampton , haven't had much barber experience in my life . I went in here not knowing what to expect , I was kinda nervous they might give me a fade but the woman who cut my hair (Maria) was really friendly and listened to Everything I said . It turned out to be one of the best hair cuts I've ever had and price was good.

Great place to go for a top quality haircut, friendly service and atmosphere. My little boy use to hate having his haircut until we found this gem of a barbers. Can’t recommend them enough.

Charlie has been totally amazing with my 2 year old little boy who is not keen on having his hair cut (that’s putting it mildly). Charlie is so patient with him, doesn’t make him sit in the chair or use a gown but let’s him decide. The progress we have made is incredible, I used to dread having his hair cut but now we are both are at ease. Thanks Charlie I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you!

Great friendly place. First time used to day for my Autistic son and my husband used the salon too. Both really pleased with new hair cuts. Will defo be using the salon for both my husband and son in the futire. Tried a lot of barbers around Northampton and I must say Charlie's trim was great ! She didn't rush my hair cut, she also asked me how I would like my fade (rather than just guessing). Charlie did forget to line up my beard however I wasn't to fussed and didn't remind her as their was an autistic child waiting to get his hair cut by Charlie (which btw I think is a talent to cut a child's hair who just doesn't sit still and wants to run around). Prices were reasonable and you can easily park your car outside. Will be going here again. Thanks.

I wouldn’t take my son anywhere else! We’ve been using Charlie’s for a year or so now, we never feel rushed and they’re all so brilliant and patient with my fidgety son. Everyone is always so friendly and they always do a great job. I can’t recommend this place enough!
