S. P.I have been looking for a new hairdresser as I am moving to Norwich and dread, as most people do, changing doctors, dentists and hairdressers. I have read reviews on line, I have walked past hairdressers in central Norwich, peered in windows, looked at who was in the salons and I finally took the plunge and booked John Olivers in Elm Hill which is in walking distance. What a delight. They listened to me and did exactly what I wanted not what they thought I should have done. They were so professional and I liked their training school so I am confident all staff are kept up to date. I'm looking forward to my next appointment in November already. Now I just have to get my husband booked in....

Mark always takes care and time to make sure that my hair is just how I like it and I never feel rushed despite having plenty of hair to dry and straighten - went a bit shorter this time and I love it! Until visiting here I have never felt completely relaxed having my hair cut and have never enjoyed the experience, but I know that I can trust that it will be perfect every time. Thanks to the team for keeping me feeling safe and chilled on my visit.

I was quite nervous about getting my hair cut short but my stylist, Eva was fantastic and talked me through every stage and gave tons of great advice. I left the salon feeling really happy with my cut and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have already booked to go back for my colour. I. F. L. C.My sister and I visited John Oliver's on Red Lion Street in Norwich last week and were enquiring about a perm with hairdresser 'Perry'. We both went in and were sat down with a coffee and tea whilst waiting. All of the staff were friendly but Perry especially was extremely honest about the fact neither of our hair would take to a perm. He even took the time to show us how to curl our hair with straighteners and was unbelievably professional and friendly. Perry seemed genuine and a credit to this salon so I think he needs recognition for that :)

V.This is the first time I've visited John Oliver and I am extremely pleased with my hair cut, which still looks very good after three weeks!! I have fine, fly-away hair so this is amazing to me. Nicola patiently listened to me describe ideas I had for my hair and offered me so many possible suggestions before starting the washing/cutting. I really appreciate the skill and friendliness shown and can't thank you enough.

I have had such amazing comments already saying it's a beautiful cut. Then the service from the other stylists checking it over etc. Cannot wait to see Emily at John Oliver's more often!
