If Carlsberg and M&S had a baby and did premium haircuts it would be Arête. It’s the best experience I’ve ever had regarding men’s grooming. The sophisticated ambience makes you walk out feeling on top of the world. The boys treat everybody in a way that makes you feel like the haircut & shave is the cherry on top. I’ve been going for a few years now and it gets me up and going. 10/10

I've followed Josh and Matt through various barbershops and now they have set up their own place. Always a great experience in a great environment. Never rushed, never just another customer. Most barbers want to get you out of their chair and onto the next customer these days, rushing your haircut and leads you to not be happy with the end result. This is definitely not the case with Arete. Matt has been cutting my hair for nearly 4 years now and for good reason. Both himself and Josh offer a unique and professional experience at Arete. The attention to detail and the fact that nothing is ever an issue is brilliant. Recently moved to Nottingham and was recommended Aretê from a family member. Not disappointed in the slightest, always a nice relaxed experience, guys are all friendly and above offer a good service at a decent price.
