Absolutely cracking haircut. I have particularly difficult hair to cut & style (blonde and lacking in volume). Got no end of great advice from hair product to ways to style and it’s much more manageable now. Always a great chat. Couldn’t recommend more.

I came here to get my first "boyish" haircut ever, and I had a great experience. I was there on a Saturday when only Darren was in so it was very busy but I took that as a sign that this was a very popular and loved barbers. I had a bit of a wait but it was enjoyable, being offered a beer, hearing Darren's anecdotes, told in a very entertaining way, him inviting the customers to choose a vinyl to put on, watching him being very adaptable to different customers, good with everyone from young children to old people. The haircut itself was excellent. I showed him the picture I wanted my hair to look like, and by the time I left the shop my hair looked exactly like the picture! I've never before had my hair cut by someone who had anywhere near that level of attention to detail. It's no wonder Curtis & York is so popular! I was charged £16.50 which I think was a student price, and for a complete restyle this is more than reasonable, but I think the price is the same regardless of how big the haircut it, I think it just depends on age of the customer. Anyway, I had a great time and will definitely be back.

Amazing barbers. Super cool interior. Beautiful experience. They listen to you, respect your wishes and give you their honest opinion, share ideas and explain literally everything you want to know. I have never had someone put so much love and joy into their work. No matter who you are or identify as, you're welcome! Will definitely keep going there!

The best hairdressers I've ever been to. Always a good cut. London trained barbers to cut ladies hair. Excellent priced for the centre of the city. Quirky shop without all the head massage rubbish, because sometimes you just want a haircut. Highly recommend

No better place for a hair cut. Top quality cut in a shop with a great atmosphere. I travel an hour to get there and it's well worth the effort. Every visit is an enjoyable experience!
