Customer service is so good that you forget you are there for a haircut. A social interaction I don't dread, always feel welcome and leave both in a better mood and with much better hair! Make sure to book online unless you want directions to the next nearest barbers!

Always use to go to Everyman barbers just down the road but after a few dodgy haircuts and them closing I have started coming here. Every time I use these guys i usually get a different barber and every time it’s a great haircut. I usually ask for a medium fade with a trim on top and because I have curly hair a lot of barbers always take too much off but these guys nail the brief every time. All really friendly and easy to talk to and they know how to cut hair and do it well!

Been at Notts for 4 years for uni, spent my first year trying different barbers and once I’d tried Quarter Barbers they’ve been my go to when I’ve been in Notts, Cam does a great job every time and gutted after July I won’t be in notts regularly. If you live in the city centre there’s no better than these guys.

Quarter barbers is home to the finest group of Hair Smiths in the great county of Nottinghamshire. When I first crossed their threshold; I was a single, unpopular nobody with a 90s quiff and bad breath. I’m now married to a grade A pengy with our first child on the way, I run the most successful men’s genital hygiene company in Nottingham and when I walk into Alto, heads turn. I credit this to 6 years of fades so sharp they could split an atom, side partings so smart they could solve cold fusion and beard trim so sexy it could dehydrate any woman in a 10 metre radius. My recommendation to anyone reading this review; empty your piggy bank and get down to Craig and the boys for a life changing haircut.

Good haircut, very happy with the results. The barbers was clean and also a nice atmosphere for the experience. It was quite pricey, but was worth it for the cut. Only slight quibble is occasionally the barbers were getting a bit laddy and had banter over the customers but not a big issue.

Quarter Barbers is the best place I've ever had my hair cut. The atmosphere in there is great and the guys all get along really well. It's VERY relaxed, I got there half an hour before my appointment which gave me chance to get a feel for the place. The haircut is the best I've ever had, they really listened to what I wanted and delivered accordingly. Consistently do decent haircuts. I always have my cut done by Craig and it's always top quality. Price is reasonable. Atmosphere is good - they are always having a laugh and a bit of fun. You can also book in before hand which is good because I hate waiting around in barber shops. All in all I can't fault it!

I recently had a beard trim at Quarter Barbers with Jamie and he did a fabulous job. Precision work and spot on my requirements for the beard trim. Jamie was very friendly and he is a very nice guy that delivers professional results and a very nice atmosphere. The barbershop is very friendly with light and good mood. This has to be one of the best barbers in Nottingham, although I have to confess I have not tried them all. Not only is the Haircut one of the best I have received and would generally be the main reason for coming back time and time again but the real reason I keep coming back is the banter. The place reminds me of how I would image an old style barbers in the 20’s but with a modern day twist. With lots of conversation on a wide range of stories and topics that always put a smile on my face. You can sit there listening to the banter, often with all the clients joining in, talking to each other across the chairs. I don’t come here just for the haircut but also the atmosphere, to the extent that if I have had a hard week at work then I will book in for a trim knowing I will come out with a smile on my face. Definitely the highlight of my Saturday mornings. Even my wife enjoys coming with me just so she can listen to the banter. The only downside to Quarter Barbers is that they only take 30 mins to cut my hair. I wish it would take an hour so that I can sit there longer. The guys have done an amazing job of creating a place you want to visit on a regular basis, where a haircut is no longer a chore but something you look forward to.

I've been getting my hair cut by Craig for the past 2 years and couldn't ask for a better hairdresser or barber shop. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed and Craig always listens to what I want so that I'm satisfied with the haircut at the end. He's really quick too, in half an hour to 45 minutes you'll have a new style that's well cut and styled. 100% Recommend 28 Barbers.
