Best haircut I’ve had in a long time, I absolutely love it. Kath did a brilliant job on my hair after my failed attempt at trying to cut my layers myself. I showed her a few photos of what I wanted and she cut and styled my hair perfectly, plus she was absolutely lovely to talk to as well. Super happy with my hair now, thank you!

Amy is the best, she is so honest about what she believes will work or won’t for your hair and always does a great job. She understands and listens to her clients needs and advises as to the best course of action to achieve the desired outcome. I thought I would never have my hair cut to the length I did having had it so long all my life but felt safe and reassured by Amy. Always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - you’ll feel like a friend, not just a customer. Before I started going to Tuckwell & Co I used to be so anxious about visiting hair salons. At other places I’d always have a panic attack before visiting and felt nervous and uncomfortable in the chair. At Tuckwell I don’t feel this way. From the moment I walked in to my first appointment I felt welcome and at ease. Although I was nervous, the staff helped make me feel comfortable and safe. They really listen to your requests and they are never patronising or judgemental. The coffee is genuinely lovely too. I’ve been going to Tuckwell & Co for almost a year now and look forward to my visit and come away happy with the result each time 😍

He took time to know what I wanted and how I treated my hair, but also knowing what would suit me and my lifestyle. It was an absolute pleasure and I love my new look!

I love this salon and I love Derek who has been cutting my challenging fine hair for 3 years. What I particularly love about him is everything is about what he can do with my hair rather than what he cant do. He is open to any requests I have whether an image I bring to show him or just talking through whether a style would suit me. He is so skilled and has a wealth of experience. I have recently had my hair cut at tuckwell & co by Sarah. I had a great experience at this salon. I wanted a fringe cut with long layers & I got exactly what I asked for. The salon is really clean and best of all dog friendly. Would really recommend Sarah as a stylist if you want curtain bangs / fringe. I love mine.

I have never ever had so many good experiences in the same salon before. I've had so so many hairdressers who have messed up my hair. BUT at Tuckwell, they're absolutely amazing. Always met with kindness and understanding. My hair has never been more perfect, they always want you to leave feeling amazing, and as somebody with very long hair, you actually get listened to. I've had my hair cut too short SO MANY times, but here they get it, I'm not lied to about the condition of my hair, or how short I "need" it cut. So professional, know exactly what they're doing and everybody is super kind <3 great oat milk tea too ;)

The most gorgeous and luxurious salon with a lovely chilled out atmosphere. This salon is a manifestation of all of his hard work, dedication and talent. Simon is absolutely incredible and is without a doubt THE best hair stylist ever! I trust him implicitly and always leave the salon feeling like a queen and over the moon with my cut and colour. 11/10! x

If you want to be treated like a queen in a beautiful atmosphere then this is the place to go. I had an amazing experience at this salon, my first time. My stylist was the amazing Simon Tuckwell who was not only the nicest guy you could meet but also so knowledgable and attentive to my every need. I understand that the salon is going to have a complete revamp of the downstairs area soon and it sounds fabulous. I can’t wait to return and experience more of what Tuckwell and Co have to offer. One of Nottingham’s gems.
