I got my haircut here. My girlfriend told me that it looked good, however, I thought it needed to be cut shorter on the sides. So my barber told me that he could either shorten the sides or I could come back another day and he would fix it for me for free. Great service and Great haircut. This is the best barbershop I have been to and the fades which they do on my sides are amazing. They don’t even struggle with my curly hair. 5 Stars.

Highly recommend Esquires! Had enough of my long hair and wanted it cut short again and I'm really pleased with the result. I even had my cut done just after closing as I'd booked late, but they fit me in which is fantastic! The opening times are great as it means I could get a cut after work hours.

As a new student in Oxford, I was slightly apprehensive about my choice of barber, but this barbershop by far exceeded my expectations. My basic clipper cut was delivered efficiently and effectively, and the shop was very clean and tidy. The barber struck me as a very kind individual. To summarise - amazing hair cut, extremely professional and quick service, great value (£14 for student hair cut in 15 minutes), barbers have gloves and masks so perfect for COVID, and lovely atmosphere. I cut my own hair during lockdown 3 months ago, so I needed a proper hair cut. I was able to book an appointment on the Esquires website very easily, and although I got there early, the barber could fit me in right away. He not only fixed my awful hair cut I had before, but gave me one of the best hair cuts I've ever had and even styled it, all in 15 minutes. He had gloves and face mask, and the place was extremely clean but also very comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Will be going again!

It's hard to fine a reliable barbershop here in Oxford, one where both the interaction and the cut are predictably good. It's taken me some time to find the right place, but Karim consistently does a great job on the hair and offers good conversation to go along with it.

I arrived before my appointment and my place was offered to someone else, so I had to wait. My beard was trimmed, but certainly, my skin is irritated and is not even straight!!. The haircut, on the other hand, it’s just okay, nothing extraordinary. I've paid 25 pounds for the service, making it the most expensive service for a haircut in my lifetime. Edited: The shop has contacted me and they have been very polite and kind regarding my concerns and offered me a free haircut for the inconveniences. They have explained that it was due to how busy was the shop at the moment I attended. I'm pretty sure they will take into account my complain to improve even more the service. :)

I am yet to write a review on Google but felt impelled to do so on this occasion due to the exceptional service I received. The owner of this barbershop was extremely professional and struck the perfect balance between chatting and getting on and cutting my hair.....which he did exceptionally well. The facilities are fantastic, with up to date magazines and a full sky package on the tv you can watch to pass the time should you find yourself having to wait. What an absolute gentleman, running an absolute gentleman's barbers. The interior is amazingly stylish, the gentleman was very professional and polite, and of course the most important thing: the haircut was good. Never miscomunicate with your barber again, as the gentleman here talks with you about what you want, and then explains what he's going to do before he does it, as well as provide you with tips to how your hair is going to grow, or how to style it. And if you're into it, you can get excellent shave gear and a wet shave here. all in all, 10/10 would recommend

I cannot recommend them enough. My husband and son both got a cut and wet shave. It was our 14-year old son’s first ever shave😂. They were so great with him. I think it is his best haircut to date. Too bad we live in the US or we’d be back every month. If you are ever in Oxford be sure to stop in. Great service and conversation!!
