Staying locally for the weekend and had an 'I need a haircut' moment whilst looking in the hotel mirror, wandered past and stuck my head in the door, Sundays are appointment only but the barbers next one had turned into a no show so I was in, best haircut I've had, great vibe, fantastic playlist on the go and I walked out feeling like I'd had a proper barber experience and with a haircut to match. If I'm back in Oxford I'll certainly be chancing my luck again, a fine barbers indeed.

I only had two experiences with this barber shop, the first one was excellent with delicate cut in an effortless fashion. The second cut bordered on disastrous, where the hairdresser needs massive improvement on his trimming skills in order to match his colleague.

I have been going to St Giles Barbers for a couple of years now. It is conveniently located at the city centre and offers excellent service at affordable prices (they also do discounts for students). The hairdressers are always proffesional and pleasant to talk to...I would highly recommend it!

I really like having my hair and beard done at St. Giles' Barbers. Claude is really professional and it is always a pleasure to visit him. However, I have tried twice to go at opening times and twice I found the shop closed, and after waiting at least 20 minutes for someone to show up, I had to leave because I couldn't spend my whole morning waiting.

I am rating 4 stars just because i am going there allready for one year, i am going every time in the barbershop with my head up because i know i will get the most pleasant haircut i can get in oxford, the barbers are so professionall and i really like the feeling when i am in there, but, just this time something weird happened, i think it's a new barber there at the middle chair (first time i'm seeing him there) who cut my hair today. The haircut was a mediocre one, not extremely bad, for sure not as good as the other barbers from there used me to, but what mesmerized me was a thing that happened for the first time in my life, at the end of the haircut the barber was asking me to give him a gratuity, and when i was asking him what is that even means, he said that he was asking for tips. I gave him one pound just because i wasn't expecting something like that, but i know how i felt myself about that, i don't think it's ok and i hope that the guys in there will surely do something about it !

What can I say? I'm really pleased with the service! He even told me to come back within 3 days if I'm not happy with the cut. I never get this kind of service all my life mate. Definitely will come again maybe after 3 weeks 😆. Reasonable price and great location.

Fantastic barbers in central Oxford. I have been coming here since September and I haven't been disappointed. The guys are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere in the shop. They give an especially good beard trim too!
