We’ve been visiting the Plain Barbers for a number of years, what can I say, as far as I’m concerned it’s the best Barbers in Oxford. John, he’s so patient with my husband, my husband has a brain injury and he’s really kind gentle and never tires of the fact that he repeats himself every single time he goes into the shop. It gives me 20 minutes of peace to sit and watch John very calmly cut my husbands hair knowing that he is in a safe place. I like to sit and look at all the interesting memorabilia that’s in the shop, Johns son and fellow colleague are equally fantastic at cutting and styling hair and so polite and knowledgable. Always difficult to find a decent barber without it being expensive, but The Plain Barber shop I would highly recommend. There is discount for pensioners and students. This is my fourth hair cut here. Next year (2019) the price is going up by a pound. Being here today have my hair cut, August 2019. The Owner broke his leg playing football last week and need an operation. He is resting this week and his son have a new job and can only come in Saturday.
