Since finding this place last year my girlfriend been coming here religiously. Due to her short hair we always had a barber either buzz cut all of it short or a stylist would make the cut very feminine. She's always happy with her haircut at YOUNGMANS and the service is just amazing. Everyone is always very professional and polite. Honestly can not recommend it enough.

Had my last 4 cuts at Youngmans in Headington by Craig and can honestly say it’s the best haircut I’ve had in my life! I usually go for the full service with beard trim, 10/10 job on the beard trim. Very attentive in making sure I’m happy with the end look and always good chat and music. I’d encourage anyone thinking about visiting Youngmans to definitely bite the bullet. Super happy customer!

Great place. Had a crisis a while ago finding a decent barber after my old one moved to Australia. Not always an easy task and after a few misses at other places, Craig has been cutting my hair for 18 months now - always does a great job. Well worth the price

Always get a decent haircut here - the staff are very attentive and make sure you're happy with your haircut. They recently re-jigged the seating area at the front of the shop and it's all a bit weird now - they now have bar stools and dining table chairs which are a bit awkward, and half the seats don't face into the shop so if you're a walk in you feel like you keep having to turn around to see if you're next.

Was running a little bit late this morning but when I got there they understood and the barber I had was accommodating, he spent a decent amount of time going through what I wanted from my haircut and even suggested a couple of things. Love the fact I was offered a choice of drink and the atmosphere in the shop was fantastic! Great all round experience and would highly recommend Youngmans to all my friends! So I've been looking for a barber to take care of beard for a long time. Having tried a few I finally landed at Youngmans and booked myself in with Craig for a 45 minute beard trim and cutthroat tidy up. So 45 minute later I emerged with a superbly trimmed beard as well as a much fresher face and I've been coming back ever since. The team here are very knowledgeable and friendly but one word of warning if you intend to come regularly book in advance. Like well in advance (I book 3 trims ahead).

Premium prices for a premium experience (and offers student discount). Great atmosphere, really friendly staff and my barber was very nice and talkative - also very understanding of what I wanted and gave me a great cut. Great music choices too. I was offered a coffee, tea or water.

I haven't been to a barber in over a year because the last one I went to in London charged me nearly £100 to ruin my beard and haircut. I finally took a chance in going to Youngmans because my hair and beard were out of control. Allan did a masterful job of trimming me up without whacking off half my beard. I will definitely be seeing him again, and my trust in barbers is restored! I highly recommend them. It's a very pleasant atmosphere, and you can get a complimentary beer, coffee, or water while you wait.

On the High Street near Oxford city center, this Barber shop charges 14.5GBP for a straight forward hair cut. ( July 2019) I was looking for a Pakistani Barber shop online by Google, and this one turned up. During my hair cut conversation, it turned up the online information was wrong. Rather disappointed with Google search. It got only a 3 stars because of the price but the service was good. Won't come here again because the hair cut is not ideal.

Fantastic place. Fantastic barbers. All barbers are attentive and highly skilled. I've had hair cuts by Craig, Macauley and now Dan as my regular and all I have been very pleased by. They will even help you with a new style or ideas to 'jazz' things up if you want that. They are the best by far, especially in Oxford. I dont go anywhere else. All the guys are friendly welcoming make you feel at home. Dan for example as my barber now he never rushes. He will give your hair cut the best attention his undivided time and will always make sure you leave with a haircut second to none. They've changed up the Oxford salon and their new Headington shop is brilliant, big and fresh. Need a haircut? Who do you call.... give Youngmans the call! Everything you could want from a modern day barbers.

The service at Youngmans is top notch and incredibly well priced considering the whole experience you receive. As someone with a fairly hefty beard, I can highly recommend Craig - he takes his time, has an eye for detail and I'm always pleased with the results. There's no finer barber experience in Oxford in my opinion.

Had my haircut by Dan last Thursday ready for going to Truck festival at the weekend, I was offered a drink and he took such care with my haircut, I was only booked in for a haircut but he even offered to shape up my beard as I told him I was going to the festival and he wanted me to look sharp for the weekend. Would highly recommend going to Youngmans, best barber shop in Oxford and would also recommend going to Dan!

I was a little scared when the old chap jumped up and said he was my barber. (Last time I went, had young guy that seem to be on the pulse of hair dos) I told him that I liked it to be cut with scissors as I like how it grows back. But he insisted on clippers. Hair looks great but when I asked for some Clay or something he just sprayed a bit of sea salt spray. Like the cut but think the last guy I had was more customer focused.

The staff are professionals through and through, happy to chat when you are, happy to just listen to the radio when you're not in a talkative mood.
