Great service and haircut cut from Aniela, very attentive, friendly and professional. I was accidentally overcharged £10, in fairness I did not realise until I received a phone call a few hours later from the Salon manager Kai to apologise and helped arrange a refund. Fair enough mistakes happen so I was not too disappointed about this, but what I liked was the professionalism and honesty to hold their hands up to admit that error. Many other places would have probably not admitted to such a situation! This speaks volumes to Pkai hair and how seriously they take customer service. I have used them now 3 times, following recommendation from my partner who has been a customer for many years. I find you are always greeted with a warm friendly welcome, offered a hot / cold drink while you wait and compared to other barbers / salons I’ve used over the years feels very much like a VIP 5* service. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Angela was amazing, she had a clear idea of how I wanted my hair cut straight away and explained exactly what she was going to do... And why. I thought Holly was brilliant. She introduced herself and made me feel at ease right away. We discussed what I wanted for my hair and I believe it's actually better than what I pictured in my head. With a chaos life at times, I cherish quiet moments and treating myself. I achieved that while Holly was doing my hair, she didn't force conversation and allowed me to enjoy my time there and relax. It was nice to be offered a drink and a foot rest at the basin. Holly's service was perfect. I will highly recommend Holly to friends and family and will be booking a visit again in the near future. I’ve been fortunate to have Shaun as my hair dresser for many years. He has always been very welcoming, friendly and passionate about hair. He’s a great listener and really works with you, giving realistic expectations for your hair. Shaun’s appointments are a full experience, he gets to know his clients, gives great care and maintenance tips. His customer service is impeccable! You’ll always leave with a smile. I’ve since moved to Australia. I have found it extremely difficult to find someone I am comfortable with and trust like I do with Shaun. In Oz I leave the hairdresser’s pretty miserable and not liking my hair or looking forward to the next appointment. I came back to the U.K. to visit this week. Before arriving I booked an appointment with Shaun. As always he didn’t disappoint and I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Shaun was recommended to us by a friend when I was looking for someone to cut my son's hair. My son is 8. He has autism, social and communication difficulties and sensory issues. Shaun is not only a very skilled hairdresser but he shows such kindness, patience and understanding with my son. The little things make such a difference: sitting with him and getting to know him first before his first cut, explaining each different sensation *before* it happens, explaining what will happen next and what it will feel and sound like and making sure that the water is *exactly* the right temperature. Shaun takes what would be a stressful experience for both the child and parent and turns it into a joy. I highly recommend Shaun if you have a neurodiverse child. I hadn't had my hair done at a salon in over 2 years and after pregnancy, having my baby 1 week before the first lockdown, dreaded box dyes and self trims...my hair was seriously neglected...now I'm getting married next year and it's given me the motivation to start getting it sorted. I have never found a salon who I stuck with as they never seemed to get it right, so I thought id try Pkai...I was a little lost to begin with, I didnt know who to book my consultation with but in the end, after looking at some of his work on the Pkai Facebook page I chose Xenon. I was a little anxious to attend the consultation, I had never been before and my hair was in such poor condition, plus my 1 year old had to tag along. Xenon made me feel right at ease, he was so so friendly towards both myself and daughter and very kindly complimented my current hair when it did not deserve it 😂. I roughly gave him an idea of what I wanted and he knew exactly what to do, he made me feel very comfortable that I was in capable hands. I attended my hair appointment today and I'm blown away by the results. Xenon is a miracle worker! I feel like a completely new woman and my neglected Mum hair feels so much healthier. It looks amazing and what he did with the colour and blending with my roots is just perfect! Xenon was lovely throughout and I cannot fault him. I always had a mobile hairdresser come to my home she was unable to get me in on an appointment once so I booked an appointment at Peterborough Pkai with Kai and I have never looked back since I have been going for a few years now and I have still have the amazing service that's I had on my first appointment. This girl knows her stuff when it comes to colour. To get my hair ice white/blue grey is not easy and she is the only hairdresser I’ve had that can do it without damaging my hair.
