Great place to have a haircut 👍🏻👍🏻 I wanted to donate my hair to the “Little Princess Trust” which has to be done in a certain way. I called Toni&Guy to book an appointment and tell them what I wanted to do. In the past they have cut other people’s hair, who also wanted to donate their hair so they know the haircut requirements. I booked an appointment and went there on time. They took my card details on the phone. You get charged £25 if you don’t turn up or if you wanted to change your mind less than 24 hours of your appointment. Fair enough. I got in there on time and my Senior Hairstylist (Emma) was there waiting for me and met me with a big smile 😃 felt welcomed already. Just reiterated to her what I wanted to do and we agreed on the style I want to have after the hair cut. First had a hair cut then a hair wash. During the hair wash you get a nice head massage 💆🏻‍♂️and you also get to sit on a massage chair. Nice experience. Third back to continue my hair cut. It was nice and Emma just did an amazing job. She is very nice, friendly and chatty. 😀😀😀 I also was asked if I needed a drink and got a complimentary cappuccino. Cleanliness: Obviously very clean and hygienic Haircut quality: 10/10 Customer service: 10/10 Price: Expensive but it is worth it. Suggestion: Maybe offer loyalty system for regular customers, free haircut vouchers, points system, future hair discounts etc. this would encourage more people to come back. All in all it was a lovely experience and I would go back again!

I have been meaning to leave this review for a while but not had a chance. Every time I style my hair, I think of the lovely Bailey who did a half head of highlights for me about 3 weeks back. I absolutely LOVE my hair colour. I cannot thank Bailey enough - she is lovely, soft spoken and listened to what I wanted. I have very dark long hair and wanted to go a shade lighter, she instantly told me I would be better of doing a half head of highlights. I left the salon feeling amazing but as I started to view my hair in different lights, it was slightly too red for me. I called up the next morning and asked if this could be fixed as I was after more of a deep brown shade. Bailey was available same day and so I booked an appointment. I was apprehensive when I came in the second time, as some hair dressers mind that you have come back/ aren’t satisfied. But Bailey did not make me feel like I was a nuisance at all. She treated me the same as if I was a new customer. This meant a lot to me. And Ofc she fixed my hair and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Sorry for the long review but Bailey really is a star and I will definitely be coming back just because of her friendliness and for making me feel so welcome. Thank you Bailey :) Sara x

I had another great experience at Toni & Guy Preston yesterday. The staff are professional and efficient. Michelle listened to my colour ideas and gave me a lovely new hair colour - just what I wanted. Melissa freshened up my outgrown lockdown hair beautifully, and was lovely and friendly as always. The salon is spotless and care has been taken to promote social distancing and safety of both customers and staff. I have moved out of Preston but I will remain a customer, as I always get great service.

I cannot praise the staff at Toni and Guy enough. I have been going there for years now and the service has always been first class. I was in the salon not long after they reopened after the COVID closure and again they excelled. The systems they have put on place to reassure their clients are above and beyond. After relocating having to find a new hairdresser is stressful. As soon as I walked into Toni & Guy the lady on reception had a warm welcome & made me feel comfortable. I had a full head of highlights & a blow dry. Which I was extremely happy with the blow dry is one of the best I’ve had. Fabulous!!! As I entered the salon I was immediately greeted by a lady at reception and asked to take a seat, she then came over to check all my details was correct so they could contact me should they need to re COVID-19. I was brought a gown that was in clean wrapping which made me feel safe. Abby introduced herself and asked what style I was after, shampooing was amazing with back massage chairs and a lovely head massage. Abby listened to everything I wanted, my hair never felt so good! From the moment I stepped into Toni&Guy Preston, I was met with professionalism and courtesy. The salon and staff took every precaution regarding cleanliness, safe distancing and sanitization. I was given my own disposable gown and led to a seat that had been cleaned and equipment laid out that has also been cleaned for each client. My stylist, Chloe wore her mask and face shield and was careful and confident throughout. Chloe's advice regarding my new hair colour was spot on and the outcome was better than I expected. Had a fabulous consultation with Head Stylist Jo at Fishergate, Preston store. I was very apprehensive entering such a stylish, young a fashionable establishment as I am of the older age bracket, with fine hair and psoriasis. I could not have been more wrong. Having recently moved to the Preston area I needed to find a good hairdresser. I managed to get a last minute appointment with Michelle and I can honestly say it’s been a long time since I’ve had such a great haircut. She listened to what I wanted, only cut a little bit off as requested and cut it into a lovely shape. Being a more mature lady in my 60s I was a little nervous about going into such a young trendy type of salon but I need not have worried as wasn’t made to feel like an ‘oldie’ and I will definitely be going back to Michelle as she is certainly skilled at cutting hair and a lovely young lady too.

I've been trying to grow out my hair for the last twelve months and have come close to giving up, several times. I've been to various hairdressers and each time I go, I'm optimistic that I'll leave satisfied. This never seems to happen though. Try as I might, I never seem to be able to get my ideas across to the stylists. Fast forward to yesterday at Toni &Guy's.... Abbey sat me down and I began to explain what I was aiming for and showed her a few photos. She was patient, interested and understood right away. The girl who washed my hair was really courteous and friendly. I like to stand and lean over the basin and some salons make me feel a bit weird about it but there was none of that here. I'm really pleased with my cut and the only regret I have is that you can't tip when paying by card but I'll make up for it the next time.

It doesn't matter which stylist I have as they are all trained in a certain way so can book in really quickly and have anyone do my hair, which is so convenient. Plus open on Sundays and late evenings, so can fit easily around a busy work/life schedule. Highly recommended.

Best hairdressers in Preston! Always get my hair cut and coloured here and I always love it! The staff are all friendly and professional. The salon itself is always clean and comfortable. There are little screens dotted around so you can watch music videos whilst you're waiting. You can have a beer/wine or coffee etc complimentary and they sell really good hair products which make my hair smell gorgeous and look really good. Oh and they have these amazing chairs which massage your back whilst your having your hair washed and head massaged ..... soooo relaxing and worth every penny!

Fantastic cut by Michelle and really impressed with the service at T&G. Michelle knew all the safety procedures in the post-lockdown world, and is a credit to the company. Hand sanitizer is at the entrance and a ‘PPE Kit’ of a mask, a disposable gown and a small cloth/towel is given upon arrival, with the staff wearing visors. The chair and sink was washed down and after each piece equipment is used, it was immediately put in sterilised disinfectant. Finally, there is Perspex screens up at the paying point. I wouldn’t usually leave reviews but from arriving to leaving, I was really impressed with both Michelle and the entire experience. A solid 11/10. 💇🏼‍♂️
