I started using Roland's a few years ago and haven't looked back since! They are always so welcoming upon arrival, never failing to offer me a tea or coffee. Tina is so good at colouring my hair. She always knows how to bespoke it perfectly so that it will suit me best and my hair is always nice and soft once it's finished (even after bleaching). Roland is amazing at cutting my hair too. If I show him pictures of hairstyles I like the look of, he can pull it off really well on my own hair. Definitely the perfect hair salon for me and everyone else I see there at the same time always walks away happy. 10/10!

Ok! I’ll tell you how I know if a hair stylist is any good. If after washing my hair 2-3 weeks after visiting a saloon, I look at the mirror and still see a stylish hair which flatter me, the stylist is good. I can tell you that after Roland’s artwork my hair look cool without trying many-many days after the actual cut. Roland’s team also taught me how to deal with appearance of grey hair without too much colouring too often. I always feel welcome and listened to. Thanks Roland and the team! Xx

Such a lovely, family business. I've had my hair cut, coloured and styled here for several years and always walk out happy. They are so welcoming, and I recently took along my 6 month old, whom they were more than happy to have about. Rolands is a fantastic, family run hair salon which is extremely friendly and welcoming as well as offering a great, professional service. Had my hair cut and blow dried last week by Roland and it looked great. Have since washed it and left to dry naturally which is the true test of a good cut (I have thick hair that can be hard to manage) and my waves are really bouncy, ends are super smooth and it still feels and looks really long (even though I know he had a chop a few inches off). It’s taken my ages to find somewhere that listens to what I want and it’s a friendly, relaxing salon experience on top - a great team who know what they’re doing.

Came here for the first time last week for colour and cut. My colour was awful I hated it and wore my hair up so you couldn’t see it as bad my previous hairdresser just kept highlighting it rather than giving me what I had asked for so I came to Rolands for a second opinion to see if they could give me the colour I wanted which was ombré. Tina was great really knew what she was talking about and I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me what I wanted I love my colour now. Roland did a great job of my hair cut probably the best cut i have ever had and I have been to a lot of hairdressers. I haven’t worn my hair up since. I went to Waitrose after my appointment and within 10mins had three comments about how nice my hair looked. It is so hard to fine a hairdressers which listen to exactly what you want and you actually get what you want. Rolands defiantly has a new forever customer I won’t ever go anywhere else now it is well worth every penny and the 25min drive for me to get there. Thanks again to everyone at Rolands!

Honestly I don't know where to start, I don't feel like the 5 stars is enough, I don't like people touching my hair and I was very anxious about changing colour from having brown to blonde with highlights, but as soon as I walked in I was welcomed, the salon was very clean with a good aura with smiling staff and smiling clients, I was asked about what I would like done with my hair, the lady (Tina) sat me down and I showed her a picture, she then looked at the picture and explained to me how she was going to help me achieve the look and I was happy with what I was hearing and the colour samples she was showing me but I was still a little nervous nevertheless, Tina then started to talk to me while doing my hair that helped relax me and just having such a friendly and nice person helped the process, when I went to have my hair washed at the sink I met Adrian a very lovely guy with good conversation and he made me feel even more at ease, when I was having my hair blow dried and cut I could see the colour come out even more and I was very happy with the outcome, I just want to say a massive thank you to the WHOLE team, I will be 100% coming back and recommending to all my friends and family, can't say thank you enough.

I went to Roland’s Hair Salon today for a restyle and a balayage and I am still in awe of what a lovely experience it was. Both Roland and Tina were so attentive the entire time I was there, making sure I was comfortable and happy while also doing a fabulous job on my hair.
