This was my first time getting my hair cut here. At first I was really nervous since going from long to really short hair is a big change for me, and I wanted it to be perfect. I showed Michelle what I wanted and I told her how I felt about the haircut. She reassured me and told me she would do it step by step so I could see how it looked at each stage and if I wanted to change my mind about the length. I ended up with my hair slightly longer in the style I wanted which better suited my face shape, and it was the best choice! Michelle offered her opinions without pushing me to change my mind, and she was lovely to talk to! However, at the beginning when I was having my hair washed by one of the younger hairdressers (I assume she was an apprentice?) the scrubbing was a bit aggressive, pushing my head up and down. It also would have been relaxing when she massaged my scalp but ended up pulling my hair too hard. Regardless, she was very nice and offered me refreshments, and I’m happy to say I will definitely return again!

My first time at The Strand and Andrew did an amazing job! I absolutely loved how the end results looked. I am usually nervous about trying new hairdressers due to previous experiences, but Andrew made me feel my hair was in good hands. Only giving 4 stars because the interior and environment/ambience could be better as it felt too noisy and crammed so forget about relaxing while being pampered. Nevertheless, if it would not bother you I would recommend Andrew.

I have been using The Strand for a number of years and have been very pleased with my haircuts and highlights. The staff are always friendly and happy to give advice. I took my 14 month old for her first haircut, which she hugely enjoyed. I must say the hairdresser did a fantastic job, especially considering my toddler's excitement. A really nice touch was the souvenir lock of hair - how thoughtful. I would thoroughly recommend Nadia and her lovely team.

Had my first ever appointment here today with Kay. She was so lovely and brilliant! Did a fab job on my colour and when deciding whether to have it cut or not she was honest that my ends were okay and didn't need doing unless I wanted them done. She wasnt 100% happy with a section of the colour so re did that part with no issues. Absolutely love my hair!

Nadia and the team are great, I am always really pleased with my hair. Charlotte is the queen of the Up Do so if you have a special occasion to go to I highly recommend her!
