My teenage son has really thick, wavy hair and I'm so glad to have found this Salon. Very friendly and welcoming barbers. Mo treated my son like a young man giving him a trendy haircut and "beard trim". Really pleased and will be returning.

Walked into the shop and was welcomed by a young lad named Mo, he was very professional and did exactly what I asked for ( Mid skin fade and beard shape up), Great guy to have a chat with during the haircut and overall was just a brilliant experience highly recommend Village Barbers and going to Mo and all the others at the store!

Decided to get a haircut at The Village Barbers, as Ive lived in the area for a few years and never got around to visiting this particular Barber's. I must say that I was well impressed with the young lad who cut my hair and my Beard. His name is James and despite his young years he is very skilled with the scissors and the trimmer. He shaped my beard like an absolute Pro. I will certainly be going back in the future. Thanks alot James.

I have 3 hyper boys one with asd and adhd and none of them ever sit still. For years I have cut their hair myself due to bad experiences, it got to the point where they didn't wand a grade 4 all over lol. So I bit the bullet and took all 3 to this barbers, omg I wasn't disappointed they were absolutely fantastic they spoke to the boys like they were little men. My kids actually sat still and engaged the whole time. The young guys are so patient and explained everything they were doing to the kids so they were aware and ready. My oldest son is ASD and the absolute patients, care and understanding amazed me I could actually relax, that never happens. I will only ever take my kids to this barbers so a client for as long as I'm paying. Thank you for making this easy for me and a stressless experience for my boys.

This is a don't judge a book by its cover Barbers, 3 young lads, was not expecting much, but actually the skill, thought, focus and customer engagement were excellent, felt comfortable and the cut and style suited me, but more than that, was of a high finish. I will be returning. Top work gents 👏

I've been to this barbers a few times as it's a bit closer to me than some of the other barbers in Reading. The atmosphere in the barbershop is relaxed and friendly, with the barbers always remaining polite and jokey with their customers. The price for a skin fade was £15 (in Reading it seems to be about £12-18 so this isn't too bad at all). The skin fade I got wasn't elite however it was still very good, my friends which I've been with have also always had good skin fades also. The best thing about Village Barbers is that there are no barbers that will violate you (as far as I know) so you don't have to worry about waiting for the good barbers while you're there.

Great team. Dad is an amputee and they made getting a haircut very convenient moving out the chair so his wheelchair could go in its place. Lovely young lady who was very kind and courteous 🙌 highly recommended

Been my regular barbers for over 8 years now. Lovely team of barbers and they're reasonably priced. Yes you can get turned away however if you know their closing times you can avoid the disappointment.

Generally not too busy but sometimes especially on the weekends there may be a queue. The barbers are mostly if not all women, they are friendly and discuss what you want done and how. Have been going here for the last couple of years and haven't received a bad cut yet.

Good prices for a great haircut, the only downside is how popular it is, there are sometimes people queuing up outside half an hour before it opens so be prepared for a wait sometimes, other than that, excellent!
