Daniel is an outstanding hairdresser. The salon is welcoming and a pleasure to visit. I have been having my hair cut and coloured by Dan for years. He never disappoints! Dan makes you feel comfortable and look fabulous! He knows what suits you and is up to date with the latest trends and techniques. I highly recommend Daniel Wilson Hairdressing

Such a lovely, chilled out experience in the salon today. It has such a nice atmosphere. The salon itself is beautiful and such lovely friendly staff. Alex colours my hair and has done for years. He’s amazing! He always knows what’s best and is full of suggestions too. Plus he’s always got such good chat. Can’t recommend enough!

Fantastic salon experience! I’ve been in for a wash & blow dry twice now and both Alex & Emma were great stylists, really friendly & professional! I have Afro-Caribbean hair that’s been treated with keratin and for over 4 years I have been looking for a salon in Southampton that can do a decent blow dry that lasts and I’ve finally found the place ! The salon interior is lovely and I really enjoyed the back massage in the massage chair whilst my hair was washed, both stylists also gave me a lovely head massage which made my experience even better. Highly recommend this salon and will become a regular client.

I cannot recommend Daniel Wilson Hairdressing enough. Andy is honestly unreal and I guarantee no client would ever leave him disappointed. I initially went to Andy with extremely damaged hair and I was expecting to just have to have my hair cut off very short. However, I left the salon actually shocked with how amazing my hair looked and felt. I receive lots of compliments on my highlights too. When you visit Andy you be can absolutely sure that you are in good hands and you can just relax! He has a real talent for knowing what will suit your hair and also your lifestyle. If you are unsure what to do with your hair or you just want an amazing cut / colour you really should visit. I have very frizzy and curly hair , Andy recommended a smoothing keratin treatment which has been great and lasted so it’s helped with the condition of my hair as I can use less / no heat on it. The salon is beautiful , friendly and very clean. All the staff are lovely and also there are amazing massage chairs and lovely drinks as a bonus! Absolute 5/5 for service , salon and staff.

After a really terrible colour job at a different hairdresser, I was recommended to see Daniel to fix it. I had both a hen party and my own engagement coming up very soon and there was not a lot of time to correct it, but Daniel stayed beyond his own opening hours to help me. The end result was so beautiful, truly the best colourist I have seen - and it was not an easy fix! Nothing but kind and understanding throughout, I felt so comfortable in his salon. I will absolutely be returning, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair now! Thank you so much Daniel.

Another beautiful colour from Andy today, not only is he a maestro at cutting and colouring hair, he also enjoys working with curly/afro hair. He's been my stylist since he was a teenage trainee & he's the ultimate professional always listens to his clients & suggests colours & styles that are appropriate & look great! The new salon in Bedford Place is beautiful too (I love the tropical fish tank & plants!) and the atmosphere is always relaxed, friendly and welcoming.

Love love love this salon! The whole in team are so friendly and all of them are so talented. Andy has been doing my hair for years in different salons and it’s really lovely to see him thriving with other creative hair stylists. I would literally trust Andy to do anything to my hair, I have extensions, I’ve had my hair super blonde and really dark - we constantly change it and the condition is never compromised and technically excellent. Andy constantly learns new techniques and keeps himself current. He does my family’s hair so I know he’s great with a lot of different hair types. However he’s fantastic at a big bouncy blow dry, I always walk out the salon feeling like I could go out on the town. Basically he’s worth any amount he wants to charge me. Love the Lanza shampoo and conditioner they sell in the salon too!

Daniel has the patience of a saint! I am not the easiest of customers! He goes above and beyond to get my hair how I love it. He get the bleach so close to my roots which no other hairdresser manages to do. The salon is lovely and Daniel and Andy are friendly and chatty. Daniel has been doing my hair for over 10 years now. Andy has been doing my hair for a while, and he always gets it spot on. I've got very thick, frizzy, long hair and he just knows how to tame it! I'm often asking for something different and Andy listens, shares his thoughts and it always ends up amazing. The salon is gorgeous too - relaxing and not at all intimidating like some 'cool' salons. I would never go anywhere else - I'd give 100 stars if I could!

Danny is a true professional when it comes to making a woman feel good about her hair . After I had my hair done I had my nails done by the nail technician in the salon . She did a amazing job and I am so chuffed with my new nails . ** I have since updated this review with the images of when I decided no more extensions and to take Daniels advice, this is almost 4 years difference. Daniel is an amazing hairdresser, his knowledge and experience is second to none After over 20 years of having to deal with my hair being frizzy come rain or shine, 'IT' has always being the bain of my life where I would take the easy option and just wear my hair up constantly I have finally found my hairdresser FOR LIFE with Daniels recommendations, no hard selling of his products and taking his advice on a keratin treatment WOW!! I can finally say I LOVE MY HAIR Can't recommend this guy enough he is the God when it comes to hair , I love him!! ❤️ Thank you Daniel x
