Can not fault this barber shop what so ever. Always feel welcomed by Franco and his team. I personally use Alex to cut my hair and have always left the shop extremely satisfied. The skill and precision is that of a very high standard. Good chats and banter every time. Highly recommended!

Visited the place a few times for a haircut and a shave it is very friendly and despite new competition opening up very close i can fully recommend you get your hair cut here Franco himself always has a smile on his face and is very warm and welcoming Betty is an amazing barber she is always smiling and always makes me feel very welcoming this is a place you need to try pampered and refreshed it's a very comfortable place to be!

I spoke to Franco on the phone, and he fitted me in within half an hour! Alex cut my hair, and it was the best cut that I have had in a long time, ignoring that fact that the pandemic has forced barbers to shut. I would highly recommend this barbers!

10/10! 5 Stars! I have lived in the area for a long time now and tried nearly all the barber shops. Franco's Barbers are by far the best in quality! You can call a day before and book an appointment after 1pm and get a haircut the next day! Walk-in's are great too when you have a busy schedule! Plenty of magazine, a coffee machine and great painting to admire for a short wait. The customer service is beyond fantastic! Everyone greets you and makes you feel comfortable and warm. I finally found a barber I can go to and feel confident when he cuts my hair. Best feeling ever!

Love this place, one of the few barbers around I trust with my hair (and beard when I had one). Lovely staff, who are all very skilled and always treat my hair well, even if I don't sometimes. I've recently moved further away from them but I will make the special journey to get my next trim when it's due.

I lived here for 20 years before I even noticed Francos. Now I won't go anywhere else for a cut. Walk in and queue or phone to book an appointment - your choice (I'm pretty sure it's walk-ins weekday mornings, appointments in the afternoon with that setup reversing on Saturdays). Might be worth a call to check before you go. Very friendly and helpful service and haircuts that quite impress the wife when I get home. Perfect.

He’s the tops! Franco is a superb hairdresser. I first discovered him when he took over my previous hairdresser’s business and I made a point of seeking him out again when he set up his current spacious, light and airy premises in Shirley Road. He and his assistants are polite, friendly, efficient and expert at what they do. The afternoon appointment system from Tuesdays to Fridays works well, but waiting times mornings and Saturdays are often reasonably short as well. Highly recommended!

Best barbers there is. They take their time with you and give you a quality cut at a fair price. Don't waste your time on places with gimics, if you want a pint go to the pub if you want a proper hair cut and beard trim go to Franco's.

Excellent barbers deserve 6 stars. Travel from Gosport every few weeks to get my son's hair cut here. Worth every mile. All staff are welcoming, polite and cheerful and Mo is an absolute legend.

I have been their customer for more that 2 years now. Frank is a great guy and I have always liked the atmosphere and the little talk while I had my hair done. However, I called them today (27/04) and asked if they have a time slot available for a haircut. They did. I have arrived with at least 15-20 minutes before my appointment. Wasn't the first time when they were not on time , but hey, it's not an exact science. I do understand if I have to wait couple minutes more. Anyway, when my time came no one asked me anything and the guy who suppose to cut my hair (Mo) continued to deal with the existing customer like nothing was wrong. 20 minutes later still nothing and that was the point when I have decided to go. I wasn't very happy that I have wasted my time. Probable I should look elsewhere for a haircut!

Visited to have what little hair I have left shaved off grade 0.5 I also partook the Wet Shave which was lovely. Franco himself did both that and the trim both of which were done with skill and precision. The wetshave is the best I've had and lovely eucalyptus creme at the end really rehydrated my face.
