I highly recommend Charlie Brown's Hair Salon to anybody wanting a decent hair cut and colour, amongst providing a variety of other hair and beauty treatments. The staff are friendly and professional which goes towards creating a great atmosphere. I am always pleased with my hair after visiting the salon. In addition, only top quality hair products are used, leaving your hair feeling and looking fabulous. The stylists really listen to the clients and will advise accordingly in order to best accommodate their individual haircare needs. All in all, a great experience every time!

From start to finish a fab experience. I love all the staff, Charlie and Co are so welcoming and great at what they do. Today trainee Morgan did a fantastic confident job of lifting and colouring my hair, a pleasure to help. Martyn did a fantastic job as always cutting my hair. Always knowing what you need. It’s always a pleasure coming to Charlie’s to have my hair done, especially when greeted with a friendly service from everyone who works there. Charlie always knows what to do with my hair before I know what I want and she goes above and beyond with her service and recommending products. My hair is in such great condition despite the blonde upkeep and always gets good treatment from the team here and compliments from friends and family afterwards are a bonus. Highly recommend to everyone :).

Had a change in hairdressers and after reading the reviews i had to come here…. Well, I can't rate this salon highly enough!! What an exceptional hair stylist Martyn is and such a lovely person!! He listened to everything I said and got exactly what I was looking for. Best hairdresser I've ever had. Very friendly, and knowledgeable, put me at ease straight away. I shan't be going anywhere else from now on. Was a really great experience.

I really wanted a change of pace regarding my hair colour after years of home dye and neglect so thought I'd have a treat and I heard this salon had a great reputation from friends. The fact that my hair was almost three different colours (a failed attempt to go brown after been bright red for 3 years) did not phase my stylist Chloe at all! She was very optimistic about my idea to dye my hair copper red. She listened well to exactly what I wanted and she was a relaxed, friendly person to be around! In love with my hair! Will definitely be back!!

Had the new stylist Martin on my first visit a few weeks ago and came out feeling like a new woman. I have never had so many compliments about my hair. The salon is modern but relaxed and friendly . I would highly recommend Charlie Browns to anyone. Can't wait for my next visit.

Used to go to the Lads Pad in Hanley but now I'd rather pay £20 for a proper job. The loyalty cards are great to it. I wont go anywhere else now.

Well I’ve definitely found my new hairdressers. Martyn was fantastic and noticed things about my hair that no one else has ever really picked-up on. Nice to get my hair cut by a skilled professional again.

I went to Charlie Browns for my 3rd visit the other day. I had VERY long and thick hair. I have an illness which means looking after my hair was becoming a tiring and painful task. I told my stylist what I wanted ( Rachel I believe ?). I didn't give her much instruction, just that I wanted a lot cutting off but it was going to be tough for me as I loved my hair so long. She took excellent care of me taking lots of length off but also giving me a suitable and trendy edge to my hair cut. She didn't need much direction from me she knew exactly what she was doing. I was SURE i was going to walk out of the salon hating my hair but I absolutely love it and I've had nothing but compliments. I feel like my stylist took note of the important factors like my age, my style and that I was letting go of a lot of hair and really took time to create something suitable for me. My son was also in the salon and I was worried that the stylists may be unhappy with him being curious and walking around and coming to have a look, but they were brilliant. He was sat down with juice and a cake from the douggie mac sale in no time and they reassured me he was ok to be curious. I finally got some me time during a hectic time of study. I have told everyone about my cut and the price was outstanding for what I had done. I know people who will be visiting due to my referral and I look forward to going back again. My confidence has shot up and I feel amazing. Thank you charlie browns x

I always look forward to my visit to the salon to see my regular stylist, Rachel. The salon is trendy and spacious, however there is no feeling of pretensiousness. It's very relaxed and friendly. Rachel gives excellent guidance when picking a style; what's achievable and how to maintain healthy hair. I went from a faded red with a grown out style, to a blonde midlength style, and my hair felt amazing! The girls were constantly checking the condition of my hair during the process which I've never known of before...very reassuring. The salon periodically puts on offers which is a nice little perk too ;) You will not be disappointed with the service, the salon and your hair when you leave. Promise! :) so go and check them out!!!

I came to see rachel. After years of box colours and neglect , my hair was a real mess. Rachel was really in sightful talking me through the process from goin dark to light and how to treat my hair afterwards. The salon in general is really edgy and trendy. All the girls were happy and friendly and I could tell they loved being there. I now love my hair and im actually due to come back for more pampering I wouldnt go anywhere else now

Charlie is amazing at her job. She takes the time to see what you want, whether it will suit and what she can do to make you stand out. Nothing is too much trouble.
