C. G.I moved from London to Truro two years ago and was eager to find a nice hairdresser. Goldbird Hair Design has such a nice vibe, really friendly and welcoming. Yasmin has been cutting my hair since 2017. They take time over your consultation and give great advice. If they don't feel like something would work or suit you they will let you know (in a lovely way!) but will then chat to you about what work. This makes for an incredibly personable service. Really, really lovely team!

I have been a client since Jo opened the salon and have been so pleased to see the salon go from strength to strength. Prior to that Jo has been my hairdresser for many years - not an easy task I can tell you.
Jo and her team are really talented super- stylists and colourists. They use Aveda products which are eco-friendly and keep your hair in tip-top condition.
S. H.I took my 2 1/2 year old daughter here to have her first haircut after being recommended by a friend and I was blown away by the friendliness of all the ladies in the salon. They all made me and my daughter feel comfortable. Celina took so much time and care in cutting my daughters hair, giving her beautiful unicorn gown and letting her hold some of her glittery combs and even giving her a cookie at the end! The salon is beautifully decorated, it was so great I am now thinking of going here instead of my usual salon myself.
G. T.I cannot recommend GoldBird hair salon enough, it really is one of the best salons I have ever visited, (the best in Cornwall) and as a person with difficult hair that is a minority type in my area, this is gold dust, I fully concur with the name of this salon.
I went into the salon, not really knowing what I wanted, both Celina & Yasmin were wonderful, they made me feel so welcome, relaxed, listened to, and I came out of there with the most perfectly suited hairstyle, that is still looking divine months later, please do visit this salon, you will not be disappointed by the ladies who work there, and their level of genuinely friendly professionalism and expertise
