I have massive anxiety about getting my hair cut usually - Dan is the only hair dresser I can go to and feel relaxed about getting my hair cut. He puts you completely at ease and my hair always looks great. The studio is also gorgeous, really kooky with lots of interesting little touches. It genuinely is a nice studio for nice people.

Went to Koyo to have my hair cut by Abbie and it was such a lovely experience! Abbie knew exactly how I wanted my haircut after not having it done in months, I am so happy with it. I felt relaxed and was nice to have a nice chat. The salon has a great vibe and everyone is so friendly and chill! Already booked up again. Thankyou so much ☺️

Absolutely lovely environment really welcoming and easy to find, the haircut is always amazing and for a really affordable price. Dan is a great guy and puts you at ease which is really lovely compared to other salons. Overall 10/10 for koyo hair 😊

I’ve had 3 restyles with Dan, all of which I have loved. The space has a relaxed and friendly vibe and Dan is very easy to chat to. He listens to what I want and then always interprets it well to suit my hair type. If you are looking for something a little different from your average salon then this is the place to go.

I wouldn’t have anyone else cut my hair. I felt like I struck gold when Dan first cut my hair. His confidence and knowledge of my hair type put me at ease, and he’s also just a lovely fella, who is so easy to talk to. Both hair cuts I’ve had with Dan have left me feeling so confident, I can’t fault the cuts in anyway.

Another great buzz cut! It’s always the highlight of my day when I visit KOYO. Their new location in Tinners Court Truro is well worth a look! Diverse and creative stylists. Beautiful and equipt salon space. Selection of Eco aware hair products for sale. Highly recommend booking in for all cuts & colour :D Relaxed & professional service. This is thoughtful hair management. A secluded, well designed and peaceful haven of great sounds and smells tucked away in Cornwall’s very own big smoke. Blake is an experienced, confident and competent stylist of many years experience, so as a new client this is a zero risk jump. I’d recommend jumping, diving head first into a big clear lake of a brand new you. I support this business because it isn’t a tedious clone of every other barber shop or salon, I came away feeling invigorated and renewed. Thank you.

It's an experience as you enter you leave the bustle of town and relax in the barbers chair. Then and expert and friendly stylist cuts your hair to a very high standard. You then leave and enter back into town at least knowing that you look the part and are ready to face your next goal of the day. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone as it's extremely good value and extremely enjoyable plus you'll get great looking hair.
