Not because I liked to keep my hair long, but it was more to do with the usual levels of fuss and nonsense that comes along with the process, namely inane banter and questions about holidays etc. Plus, I may be old but when did barbers become so expensive?!
Well I was lucky enough to stumble across Sam Barber a few years ago and I've never changed since. Prices are reasonable, the service is fast and friendly without being intrusive.
Sometimes there is a short wait, but it has never been more than 15 minutes ever. The guys are great and it's very popular, which says a lot.
There are a lot of barbers to choose from and they are becoming synonymous with the current trend and as such, people are paying a lot for the same product. My view is simple, find someone good, and use them. I have.
