This place is fantastic. High quality haircuts at really affordable prices. The service is brilliant in terms of asking what you want and making sure the cut you want is right. Ed is an absolute legend who did me a fantastic beard trim too. He even offered me a beer. Great place where they care about making a connection ... as well as a wicked cut!

Me and my son have used Ed’s barbers for a number of years and never been disappointed. Ed always welcomes you with a smile and joke and has a fantastic way with the kids. Although we have had all of the stylists Ed employs cut our hair at some point for us our preferred barber is Omar. Omar like all of the staff is forever friendly and will go out of the way to ensure you’re happy and help you get to the next style you desire even if that requires several stages. We simply wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My favourite barbers in Watford. The pricing is excellent at £14 for a regular men's cut (as of July 22). The staff are all super friendly and I've never had a bad haircut in there. A1 stuff!

I had a really good skin fade done here a few days ago, and it’s clear the main barber is very skilled at it. However, my beard line up was done poorly which was disappointing to say the least. The line was taken up too high and it was obvious despite me telling him to not adjust the line at all. All in all a great place for a good fade but I certainly wouldn’t recommend the beard service at all.

I've taken my son to numerous places and then discovered Ed's. Ed and his team are extremely efficient and take the time to listen to what you need and provide great advice. My son feels at ease and is always happy with the results. Ed's place is a like an old school Barbershop, lively atmosphere always great banter. Last visit I was offered Ed's amazing coffee skills with a double expresso and even a couple of Jaffa cakes.

Apart from giving great haircuts, Ed’s is the most welcoming and friendly barbers I’ve ever been to. All the staff are so kind and patient and they really get to know their customers which is why me and my son won’t go anywhere else. If you’re lucky you might also get to see some magic tricks and hear the odd joke or two!

Came in today for a haircut and the atmosphere was professional and welcoming as usual. I asked for a skin fade with a bit of length off the top and Grant, who cut my hair today, pulled off exactly what I wanted. Was proper friendly and gave me tonnes of advice on what to use with my hair type and even let me try some of their powder to help me get the style I wanted. I've been coming here for nearly two years now and definitely won't be going anywhere else any time soon. Really sound bunch of lads with quality service.

I took my 3 year old son to get his haircut today and all I can say is... excellent!! Yes of course there was a queue but with 3 barber's all cutting hair and someone else doing the sweeping and organising the queue went very fast. My son has downs syndrome so as you can imagine it can be difficult for him to understand what's going on... he had his hair cut by Grant today who was extremely patient and very calming for my son. After the cut was done he made sure he was all brushed off properly and I honestly can't thank him enough as he even managed to style my son's hair properly afterwards. It's definitely the best haircut her ever had in his life. I honestly couldn't be happier with the service and the high quality of haircut my son now has... thank you all as it's a brilliant team at eds barber's and you have a great stylist in Grant... can't wait to see you all again. I have been a customer of Edd's for a good few years. Ed and Omar are great with what they do and offer quality service in a very relaxed atmosphere. Always a nice chat and welcoming experience whenever you step in or walk by. Writing this during the lift lockdown restrictions I felt safe , seating plentyfull without being cramped up and everything is safe. The guys wearing mask, overalls and face protection. I have always had trouble with my tricky hair getting something that looks decent and presentable. I can always get what I want or an honest recommendation from here. I recently have had an heath issue with my face. Ed happily made accomodation and treated me well with a face shave that I can't do properly.

Ed is amazing - not just as a barber but particularly with my son who is autistic and gets very anxious in queues and crowded rooms. Ed will go out of his way to let me know when the shop is quiet, or let me know when he is on his last but one client of the day, so we can go in without any upset. So much so that today, Charlie let Ed do a complete restyle (as in pics). Charlie trusts Ed implicitly and knows he will look after him. (Stickers and lollies are always a plus too!)
