Been going to Nathan for a while now, and he always gives me the best cut - Can't recommend enough! Especially if you have long hair and aren't necessarily looking for the classic buzz-cut looks you typically get at barbers. Nathan is really versatile and accommodating for all hair lengths and styles.

It's a good place for your haircut, definitely high quality finish and filled with friendly people. The punctuality has gone downhill since new management came in. I've had to wait 15-30 minutes past my appointment time the last 3 visits in a row, which never happened in the 2 years I was coming here before.

Hugely impressed! It's difficult to find a salon that does exactly what you want when you want to go really short and alot of barbers aren't keen on working on women's hair. I popped in on a friend's recommendation and met LP who was more than game to work on my hair! Great attention to detail, and you get exactly what you ask for. The best haircut I've had since not being able to see my previous stylist since last March. Thank you for the awesome cut. Will 100% be back! 30.12.21 Back again for a long overdue visit that had been postponed due to illness and busy schedules on my part. Once again a 100% fab visit! Good to catch up with LP and I seem to get braver each time I land in her chair. Best haircut ever, absolutely love it! The same great level of care and attention to detail. I have never had more time, care and effort put into a cut before, can't rate this place highly enough! LP cut mine and my sons hair, felt 100% confident and ended up going for a cut i had never felt brave enough to go for before but always wanted. The whole process was more of a collaboration and as a result i left more than happy, and feeling more confident than i have for a long time! Great staff, great atmosphere, great cut , great music - even my son didn't want to go home. Doubt i'll go anywhere else now, and will go back to LP - she really took the time to make sure i got the cut i wanted - and i really did! First rate!

Difficult to find a place comfortable with pixie cut of straight and thick hair. Very pleased with LP and Nathan. Both are professional and confident barbers. They understand different styles and give good suggestions. The shop is clean and cosy. The booking system is easy to use. Definitely would go again.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now & have been coming to Nathan since he’s been back. Brilliant haircut with Nathan every time. Atmosphere in the shop has improved since Nathan has taken a managerial role, combined with the new ownership/new staff. I used to feel out of place in the shop at times, due to what felt like a cliquey culture previously. There’s now a much more relaxed, welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers. The shop is also noticeably cleaner and better presented in recent times. Highly recommend!

First time at Headcase and first cut with LP. I turned up without booking on the off chance and was in the chair on the spot despite being a busy day. LP did an awesome job, I had grown my hair out during lockdown and wanted to try something different and rather than the usual 'short, back and sides' I had a cut that was layered and stylish which looks incredible, thanks LP! A fantastic place for a trim. I've had nothing but positive experiences from everyone who's cut my hair or trimmed my beard here. The barbers are all knowledgeable and remember you when you pop in, it's great to sit in the chair feeling secure in the knowledge you're in good hands and you'll get exactly what you're after. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Popped in for a trim today with Lucie now Ben has moved on. I must say I'm very impressed. Superb conversation, excellent cut and very keen to involve me in all the process. I'll definitely be booking in again in about a month before my Xmas party!

My son wanted to try a new barbers, having been disappointed with his regular and price going up. Upon entering we were made to feel welcome and though we didn't have an appointment we were accommodated with an hour so walked around and came back. The place is young and energetic with a cool vibe. The stylists themselves very on trend. I noticed immediately that the guy cutting my sons hair (forgot name, sandy blond hair and quirky style) was great with attention to detail. He took his time to listen to my son and cut it perfectly, just how he wanted it. Five stars so far. My only small critique was a guy being very loud and distracting whilst his hair was being cut. But aside from that, absolutely five star. Great price (under 16 so lower price point which was pointed out to the stylist by the manager). We will be back :)

Great cuts. Great vibes. Really nice barbers. The large fella is a bit weird though, but I think that was because he was attracted to me. I did have the temptation at one point through my haircut to kiss his soft tender lips, but I didn’t let my mind get the better of me. I went here for just a haircut and it was easily the best haircut experience I've had. Usually I don't like going to barbers/hairdressers because of the forced, boring, idle chit-chat so I tend to just use clippers at home, but I thought I'd throw caution to the wind and give this new place a go. I'm so glad I did because the barber was really friendly and really interesting. It was like talking to an old friend and he certainly knew how to cut hair well! I highly recommend this barbers. Haircut was £20, which is more than I would usually pay, but definitely worth it for the experience and his skills.

Finally found a barber around this area that knows how to handle my beard!! I’ve a big dense beard that needed shaping with a tight skinfade for my haircut too and Billy was the man. Love headcase! The vibes are awesome, they have a games room, you can have a beer, good conversation, not like sitting in a doctor's surgery like some barbers, Rob has created an awesome shop, Ben runs it super slick and Billy and Nathan are a couple of grafters that help keep the shop awesome, all these guys are really good barbers too, no mediocre cuts here! Highly reccomened!

These guys really know what they are doing I love coming here just to chill out have a beer and get the chop and have a chat. You can book appointments now which is great as they are always busy and people queueing even before the shop opens. I find that the cut really lasts as well no matter who you’re in the chair with. This is a barber which, quite frankly, does more than just cut your hair (besides the usual beard trims, etc). To say a barber is a mate is one thing, but to look forward to going to your barber beyond just your hair being cut is another. Ben does my trim every fortnight and I look forward to sitting in that chair with his face close to mine. It's almost erotic. It's not (I hear installing frosted glass is expensive), but it almost is.
