I have recently moved to the woking area and I found Penny Kristian on Google. From start to finish Penny was so welcoming and friendly, I had a wash cut and dry service and honestly my hair has never been this smooth, soft and straight! Having afro carribean hair it's difficult to keep it straight and not go frizzy without having a treatment, but the products and drying method that Penny used has worked beyond my expectations! I'm so happy with the final result and this will now be my new regular hairdressers. Thank you Penny!

I had been wondering for ages how keratin treatment would affect my curly hair . So I booked a consultation with Penny to discuss. She carefully examined my hair and spent considerable time discussing the look I was trying to achieve. She was very professional and put no pressure on me. After thinking about it for a while , I booked an appointment and went back . Penny applied the treatment and I’m so very pleased with the result. Thank you Penny .

Had my hair than by Penny, she was a lovely lady and very professional too. I went there for a whole new look as I didn't know what to do with my hair anymore 😂 tired of it really. She did such wonders with my hair and now I love it! She also advised me on how to maintain my hair too. I will definitely be going back regularly.

I have been going to Penny regularly for about 5 years for relaxer and colour. Yesterday I tried the keratin treatment for the first time. To say I was blown away is an understatement! My hair is the most beautiful it has ever been and being a person who is very good at styling my own hair, that’s saying something. The treatment was a long process so while mine was being done, Penny worked on 2 other ladies. Both looked amazing! This lady is just so professional I can’t understand or even believe the bad reviews on here. Unlike some salons in Woking, Penny is proficient in ALL hair types- Caucasian, Asian, Black or Mixed Race I have seen her do them all and do them well! Thank you Penny you are truly a blessing!

I have been a customer for about six years. In the last two years Penny has personally styled my hair. I have been relaxed carefully, had tremendous treatments with Mizani products, and been blown dry beautifully. My friends and family have commented on my healthy tresses. I love the care and attention, the chance to fall asleep whilst my hair is being washed and the enlightening conversation on a range of topics. Being central to town is definitely a bonus. Keep doing what you are doing Penny, its great. June 2016 so my relaxer is going out, its been six months and the kerastraight is looking pretty smart. Forgot to review in April after I went. Fantastic! I am growing out my mixed natural hair and didn't know what to do with it. I ended up with a great hair cut, an awesome treatment that left my normally coarse hair very soft, and the best blow dry and style I have ever received at a salon! Highly recommend Penny Kristian. The first day I met Penny, she took the time to talk to me about options, colours, cost and time. She was super chilled and so happy to talk me through her process and how she works. I had a dead line as I was due to go to a wedding a few days later - EEK!!! When the day came to do my hair (the next day), Penny was seeing another client as was scheduled. She took her time and was openly chatting to us both without getting distracted from the job at hand. Her client was so happy with her hair (and it looked great!!!) and on talking to her a little more after her appointment, I understood that she had been seeing Penny for nearly 8 years and live approx 40 miles away!! She traveled far to see Penny and to get her hair done just how she likes it. Then my turn..... We started steadily and due to the length and style of my chosen hair Do, we could see it was going to take a while. We got stuck in. At no time did Penny ever waver or slow down(even if I did). Some might say that it took too long, however I have never come across a hair dresser willing to put in the time to finish what they started in 1 day. My Do was this: White, Silver and Chocolate full extensions braided into my natural hair. Due the thickness of my own hair, the length of the style and Penny - working pretty much alone, it took 10 hours from start to finish. Once done we were knackered but both soo excited for the finished look. The joining was clear and partitions were so neat and the colour mixing looked fabulous!!! I used to travel far and wide to get my hair done. now that I know Penny is local to me i will definitely be going to her again. Penny has a big heart and cares about what she does. Importantly she gets excited by doing unusual styles for clients - her excitement is infectious. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to go to see Penny for thier hair Do's, I would definitely suggest dropiing by, seeing the shop (so clean and tidy, and taking the time to talk through your options.
