I've been going to Celine's since she first opened in Goring, after years of trying to find a barber who was capable of cutting curly hair. She's extremely professional and takes her time, so you don't feel like you're just another customer in the chair. She always listens to what you want, while gently guiding you towards what looks good. The attention to detail is obvious in the shop itself, which has a great vintage look. When I got married we she gave me a consultation a month in advance to make sure I looked my best in the photos. It's no surprise she's an award-winner, but by using the Booksy system of booking appointments she ensures you're not left in that barber hell of spending hours waiting for your turn in the chair.

Excellent gents haircut today. First cut since April, so was a challenge Celine took in her stride. I was the last customer of the day but time was taken and I received an excellent cut and advice. I would recommend this Barbers, its the best in Worthing and Goring-by-Sea. Great value and the inside is meticulously clean and COVID-19 safety procedures are followed. Its great 👍

My teenager son love this place! He’s very fussy about his hair and Celine is always very professional and very patient with him, she always listen to him and advise if what he wants to do is suitable for him and his hair type which I find is very important to a teen ! Also with everything that’s going on regarding COVID-19 Celine Barbers is a very safe place. Celine complies with all the regulations required and we felt very safe both times we have been since she reopened after lockdown. Happy teen means happy mum so thanks Celine!

I have been a client of Peter Jones’ for a number of years when he ran his own business. As I had always been very pleased with his haircuts I decided to try out Celine’s Barbers now that he has joined them. The quality of the haircut is still very good and worth travelling a short way to avoid a disaster with an unknown barber. Nearby parking was available. I will be returning.

Easy booking system, no wait, brand new salon with a nice French touch, coffee on demand, tasteful music, and Celine is just an amazingly skilled professional. The barbers is welcoming and in a good location even for us Storrington chaps. Peter is a great barber and will certainly be staying with Peter as my barber. Used Celine for the first time following recommendations from friends. Really glad I did. She is an excellent barber, very friendly and professional. I am a fairly fussy senior and she really did a superb job. I will certainly be going back as a regular now and would thoroughly recommend her if you live in the area and haven't been to her shop before. For those who are interested she uses the Booksy app which is incredibly easy and convenient to use. However, don't be put off if apps are not for you. You can still phone to book a time or pop in the shop.

Deep relief to return and have 5 months of lockdown hair removed and the rest restyled brilliantly with Celine's amazing array of razors, clippers and scissors. Still the best in town and far beyond :) Seven months after my first review below, it's all still true, except for the coffee and tea thanks to covid, of course: _____ Always amazed by Celine's skill, and attention to detail, on every haircut I have with her, and now the same for my beard trim. Exceptional service with a smile, in clean and stylish (but not fussy) premises, with booksy app bookings and free tea, coffee and biscuits. I always come out feeling great - and thinking she should charge more! Sheer class.

Always a pleasure visiting Celine’s. I always feel like I’ve been well looked after. I like the fact I can book a slot and not have to wait in a queue for ages, but if I do have to wait a few minutes there’s a comfy sofa, (tea & coffee pre-Covid) in a bright and spacious salon, and a toilet. (sometimes I arrive a bit early to sit and have a coffee).

Celine is lovely and cuts hair like a champion. She uses an online booking system (Booksie) which is really convenient. You can still call ahead or pop in, but why take the risk when you can check out the diary, book your time and get on with your day? The space looks great, feels clean and has an armoury of tea and coffee next to the comfy waiting sofas. Oh, and the price is reasonable alone, but considering the care and attention she puts in to her craft, it makes the price a rediculous bargain. Verdict? 10/10. I will upgrade it to 11/10 as soon as she installs a beer fridge.
