ANTI.dote is the best salon I've been since I am in England. Andrew cut my hair, he was incredibly nice and great in understanding perfectly what I had in mind. He made a unique haircut for me according to his personal taste and style but also respecting my requests. The hairstyle is super easy to maintain and looks great for the shape of my face. The shop is clean, super stylish and cozy at the same time. Andrew's colleagues are very nice and welcoming too. I will surely come back to ANTI.dote salon. Bravò!

I moved to York this year from London, and had been hesitant to use a new hairdresser as I’d been with mine for a few years - but trains to London for a haircut quickly became unviable. After searching for what felt like forever I stumbled across anti.dote’s Instagram and loved the hair imagery on the platform - it felt really authentic and creative. I went to speak with Andrew for an initial hair consultation and I immediately felt at ease and trusted his approach to hair. I had my hair coloured and cut last week and I absolutely adore it - it’s such a natural colour and really glossy. After washing and styling myself it’s very easy to manage which I’ve struggled with in the past as I have really thick, wavy hair. Thanks again!

I was new to York and found out about Anti.dote as a friend of mine had recommended Andrew. Walking into the gorgeous air conditioned salon on a melting hot day, Andrew immediately put me at ease and I felt listened to, and able to implicitly trust I was in safe hands. Due to lockdown/being a new mam, I hadn’t been to the hairdressers in over two years and the transformation that Andrew managed to achieve was incredible and genuinely life changing. All expectations I had were exceeded by miles. I have gone from brunette to having the copper hair of my dreams. I feel like a new person entirely. I can’t wait for my next appointment!
