Visited this morning - didn’t have to wait long, everyone wore masks, everything was clean and tidy. I got exactly what I asked for and am really pleased with the cut! Fully recommend, especially weekday mornings when it’s quieter.

I have been to a lot of barbers in York and in other cities but the service they provide is unmatchable. The atmosphere and the welcoming to the place is amazing. Shout out to Altun who done one of the best skin fades ever his attention to detail and the ability to understand different types of styles is unbelievable. He is a very skilled, professional and friendly barber. Other barbers in the shop were also really friendly! I definitely recommend Blades of Gold to everybody in York to go there! They are very affordable for the quality of their work. I am very happy with my cut and will always go there from now on.

Visited today and was blown away. I had a full service which involved hair cut, cut throat razor shave, eyebrow trim, flames and a hot towel. The whole experience (and it was an experience) was great and I left feeling like a new man. I've only ever been to traditional barbers before and can say this was miles apart. I will be returning monthly for a full treat. Cannot recommend enough.
