Recently visited this barbershop, which left an ambiguous impression. Advantages: On the one hand, the building is located in the center and it was convenient for me to get to it, and it was nice inside. I was cut by the owner of this institution as a hairdresser. He was very polite and responsive. It was also very convenient to make an appointment on the official website. Disadvantages: From the good design both outside and inside, my attention was immediately riveted to the slovenliness. Where dust would normally accumulate, there was hair, and it seemed like it was everywhere. It's hard to justify this as a workflow since I've been to a lot of really clean barbershops. As for the hairstyle, at first it seems that everything is done well, but then you start to notice crooked moments and poor execution technique. I must say right away that the prices are too high in comparison with the performance. My haircut cost £21. As for me, there are too many mistakes and not a rich technique for such a price. I tried to make the review as detailed and objective as possible so that it will help you when choosing. It's not worth it in my opinion and I wouldn't recommend this barbershop.

Really friendly and patient with me even though I wasn't 100% sure what cut I wanted. Brilliant, high quality job overall!

Went in with long, unruly(curly hair). Needed a cut for an important interview. The barber took his time and ended up with a super neat cut. As my hair is curly I've had some terrible cuts but this was great. £25 seemed a bit steep for an (albeit neat) short back and sides- he called it a re-style, hence 4 stars not 5.

Hands down the best haircut in York. I'm from London and the prices are much higher in York generally. However, if you want quality, come here. The queues may be long but book online in advance and you'll be seen in a timely fashion. A popular place so expect to wait during peak hours.

Probably the best barber in York. I've got an amazing haircut and my beard has been really nicely trimed. Everything was perfect. I particularly appreciated the fact that they truly take the time to give their customer the best haircut. The prices are also really fair. I can only recommend! If I wouldn't leave York soon, I would have become a loyal customer.

If you want to get your hair cut from a top class barber, get yourself down to Mo. He is by far and away the best barber in York, and has a great team around him as well. I have been going there for the last five years and would never go anywhere else. Top class service, top class people and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for!!

This was a first for me. The visit a pampering gift, what a relaxing experience, haircut washed, head massage shaved and all the trimmings. MO was great very interesting to talk with. Go on guys give yourself a haircut and shave, you won't be disappointed.
