F. T.Shane cut my hair and he was just fab! I'm growing it long so he just gave it enough of a trim to feel fresh but without taking too much off and the layers are just perfect! He was also really good at giving tips to help me style it at home …
N. C.I have visited twice this week, for a cut myself with Shane then for a cut for my 10 yr old daughter with Leanne. Both of us were thrilled with the service. Shane cut my hair many times a few years back but we lost touch when I moved away for a while and he opened his own salon. I am delighted to have found him again. He is really professional and incredibly welcoming and down-to-earth. He offers a lot of advice but also listens to what you want. My daughter has been harping on all day about how lovely Leanne was and how chatty and interested in her and their conversation, she made my little girl feel like a proper young woman and she has not stopped saying how lovely her hair feels and smells (I'll have trouble getting her to wash it in a couple of days I'm sure!)
The salon is also cosy but modern, I'm loving the decor. We are now regulars, we will definitely be back! Thanks guys.

Everyone I spoke with at the salon was lovely and friendly and welcoming. James did an absolutely amazing job at taming my hair, and really listened to what I wanted. It looks beautiful, bouncy and healthy now, and I've already had several compliments about it. I'll definitely be visiting James again!

T.I was visiting from northern Ireland to see my daughter who booked me in here to get a massage which was wonderful, while waiting for my daughter getting her hair done the owner cut my hair gave me great advice. My daughter who was nervous at getting her long hair cut up came out with also lovely hairstyle and great advice.
What we loved most was the atmosphere of all staff so friendly and the owner being very passionate in his work and took the time with us. I have to say in alot of years this has been my best experience in a hairdressers. Thankyou all at Westgate for a truly great experience. Karen and paula
f. h.Outstanding hairdressers. Calm, lovely, helpful staff. Feels like a coffee shop, arty hair antique niknaks strewn around, but the staff are young, vibrant, confident in their ability to cut and style hair to perfection, wether you want edgy, sleek, versatile. Colour is my weakness and I have been so disappointed elseswhere...Westgate stylists do both, so you are not fobbed off . The lighting is bright enough to detect flaws but comfortable. I left feeling great. And at a price I can maintain, I don't ever want to leave! Book in while you can, this place is new and will get hugely busy!! I'm sorry but I'm not naming my stylist....to avoid queues..but they really all are experts!!
