I've never been happy with any balayage I've had until I came here!! Paige is incredibly talented as well as being so friendly and welcoming. I'm back in 9 weeks to go pink - something I've always wanted to do but needed someone amazing like Paige to give me the confidence! Honestly could not be happier.

Staff made me feel very welcome and Janina did an excellent job of sorting out my self cut pandemic mess of curly hair, listening to my requirements and keeping me informed throughout the cutting process. Such an amazing team. I visited with a complete hair disaster (which had happened in a different hairdresser that morning), they calmed me down and found space to fit me in then and there (on their busiest day). Natalie was outstanding! - she spent the best part of 4 hours transforming my hair - which I now couldn’t be happier with, it’s incredible and the polar opposite of the monstrosity it was when I first walked in! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and provided a fantastic service. Highly recommended!

Had THE best experience at Brighton from start to finish! The Front of house team were fantastic, the style director did my hair so beautifully honestly the best it’s ever looked, the apprentices were of an extremely high standard...the shampooing being the best bit!! I used the 50% intro offer with Natalie yesterday who did the most amazing cut and style on my hair. Natalie was so attentive and tailor made a treatment bespoke for my hair needs too. At every step of the cut, she consulted with me and really listened to what I wanted. Natalie is such an amazing stylist and a credit to Rush. Great salon. I used to just get my hair cut at any old barber's, but when I wanted a change I tried RUSH in Brighton. I am very happy with the service and everyone in the salon is always friendly and helpful with advice. Natalie is great and I really recommend her. Ellie (?), the manager, is always friendly and I feel valued as a customer. Ignore the bad reviews on here as I think they must be going somewhere else!! Seriously though, if you take the time to get to know your stylist I can only say that my experience has been positive throughout. The salon is a bit small and can get busy, but I go on Saturdays usually and have never felt rushed.

I tend to shy away from highstreet salons as the atmosphere can make me feel quite awkward - I don’t know the right terminology etc - but Rush Brighton were incredibly kind and accommodating. It’s been about 7 months since my colour appointment and I’m so impressed with how it’s grown out and faded since then. Staff are happy to explain any jargon if it goes over your head. A lovely group!

Selina has absolutely transformed my hair! I came in with a build up of all sorts of random colours in my hair (mainly pink). I came to rush around 2 months ago to have a cut and balayage done by Sara. She did an amazing job and really matched the toner to the colour of my skin. I went away and wasn't entirely happy with the cut, so I rang and she encouraged me to come back in and was extremely helpful in correcting what I didn't like and it looked beaut! She said she is more than happy to help and correct her work and was thankful I came straight back to her. Came back today to get my toner topped up and again she did a fab job. All the staff there are lovely and welcoming. Definitely worth the price!

The salon has such a friendly but professional vibe and I always feel welcome by everyone there each time I come back to Brighton every few months to get my hair done. A great hair salon. I've been having my hair done with Jason for 3 years now and I've never left disappointed. Clearly the staff are well trained and know what they are doing. I always see the salon busy with happy customers. The staff are really nice, are never rude and try to make people feel comfortable. Hairdressers always get a bad press for being rude, crap and unprofessional and this place does not apply, it's not fair that they come under fire so much. Previous reviews are no relevant from 4 years ago! I grant people that prices are a bit more expensive but it is Brighton and id comparable to other salons. If you want professional and superb service I would highly recommend Rush to anyone.

I LOVE this place. I've been to a lot of Brighton hairdresser and this is by far the best. I've had my hair done 3 times now and loved every cut. Had a great first time here last weekend. I usually always dread going to the hairdressers because I've had experiences at other salons in the past of being put down and made to feel bad about my hair because it's not in great condition. I spent 4 hours here transforming my hair from a bleached dry mess to a gorgeous healthy chocolate brown! I love it! I can't remember the hair dressers name (italian woman with pink hair) but she was fantastic. Very friendly and chatty, making me feel very comfortable throughout the long day and basically preformed a miracle on my hair. She took her time and reassured me as the process went on. I will definitely be coming back! Yes it's a little expensive but sooo worth it, you can tell they're highly trained and have great people skills too. Thanks! X

Take your kids here!!! I always assumed Rush would be high end pricing...I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost my son's hair cut cost today. We saw the lovely stylist Natalie. I am really happy with Rush in Brighton. I see the lovely Natali, who does my cut & blow-dry, as well as my Brazilian blow-dries which leave my hair soft & silky, for around 4 months. The rest of the staff are smiley & welcoming too. Tip: Go on a Weds & get £50 off the Brazilian blow-dry!

Honestly can't recommend this hairdressers enough. Not only did the save what was a complete and utter disaster off a home bleach attempt I did myself they are the most friendly and welcoming professional salon I've ever visited. I went here after an awful cut about 4 or 5 years ago. Jason rectified my hair even though it was so short and difficult to do so. I haven't looked back since. Shona is the best hairdresser I've been to! My hairdresser does a great job with my extremely thick hair, which is good as lots of other hairdressers I have been to struggle to give me a good cut & I end up with lots of hair that sticks out & looks bad. Perfectly good haircut and worth the £29.50 I paid as a new customer but definitely not worth the £59 it would be full priced. For that money you'd expect the salon to be a bit cleaner and more spacious: it is cramped and the previous customer's hair was left on the desk in front of me. Not a luxury experience but not bad for £30.

Went to rush for the first time and brilliant service beginning to end Masie who did my hair made me feel like I wasn't a nuisance, engaging conversation, smiley and did exactly what I wanted to my hair ! The reason for not giving 5 stars was just purely space issue having to squeeze past clients and staff a lot!!

You have made Clare extremely happy and she can’t praise you both enough. She has just got home and you can see the professionalism in what has been done to rectify the problem and for that I would also like to thank you both. Clare will definitely be using Rush again after today but will be making sure she books with Jason in future. I visited Rush today in North St with extremely bad cut hair extensions and a bad colour match, as soon as I walked through the door I was treated like royalty, Jason is the nicest and most understanding person, I was in such a panic and upset I had recently had hair extensions and they had been badly cut, Jason set to work with his scissors and worked his magic, I was amazed what a difference from when I walked in, then I met Brooke who if you want your hair coloured you have to go to this lovely lady she done a fantastic job of making my real hair and extensions the same colour, I walked in the salon with really bad hair and walked out feeling like a million dollars, thanks guys will be seeing you in the new year, you have one happy customer who your stuck with now :)
