Once inside it’s immaculate and all the staff are incredibly welcoming/friendly. You can tell they are experts in waxing with techniques that make the experience as comfortable as possible. If your looking somewhere new I’d really recommend.

E. M.I get intimate waxes at madame wax and have been getting the dita wax since the start of the year i think. I moved to Cardiff from Kent to study at Cardiff uni so was very nervous about finding a new place to get my wax done but I am so glad i found Madame Wax. Most recently I have been sticking with Toyah and she does such a brilliant job and is so lovely to talk to as well, i feel super comfortable when I go in. I couldn't recommend them enough. They also give you a sachet of after wax cream to apply at home and give good after care advice, and students get a discount at certain times/days.

S. M.I haven't had a wax in over a year and was terrified of it being extremely painful.
From the moment I entered it was such a lovely and friendly environment. It can feel a bit awkward stripping off but I felt 100% comfortable and at ease.
I mentioned how I was super scared of the pain and the therapist said we'll take it slowly and work from the outside in and stop if it gets too much - however it never came to that. It was fine.
Definitely the least painful wax I've ever had and the therapist (Courtney) was so so lovely and chatty and I felt so comfortable.
100% going to be a regular here.

The actual waxing experience was so quick and a lot less painful than I was expecting...in fact, I barely felt a thing! Lindsey was really professional - I didn’t feel at all awkward lying on the bed with my legs akimbo and she gave me some great aftercare advice.
I’ll definitely be going back in 6 weeks time and I’m even tempted to throw away my epilator and get my legs done too!!

R. H.I really wanted to love Madame Wax after hearing so many great things, and I just don’t think I had the same experience that others have enjoyed.
When I arrived the staff were all gathered around reception talking amongst themselves, and while this wasn’t really a problem it did seem a little unprofessional. The person I had booked for my full leg wax was running over in her previous appointment so one of the other ladies did my wax. I have a high pain threshold and don’t mind waxing at all normally, but this was the most painful wax of my life. However the lady who did the wax was perfectly friendly and professional.
I also felt a bit disappointed with the results. I’m an on-off waxer, so I’m well aware that there are always a few little hairs left over that can’t be reached, and this doesn’t bother me. However when I got home several hours later I noticed patches of longer hair on my inner thighs that had been missed.
While this was by no means a terrible wax, I was expecting amazing things for £35. I have to admit I’ve had better for less elsewhere. Maybe I just got unlucky and should give them another go, judging by the rest of these glowing reviews.

I usually book in with the lovely Adele whom within about 5 minutes will make you forget you are there for a wax! Sheldon and Lindsay are also lovely therapists and during my last visit all 3 of them decided to make sure that my brow wax was on point! - amazing! if you want eyebrow waxing/ shaping then i've just experienced their meticulous eye for detail.......measuring, threading, waxing, plucking ....... you should book now before they get inundated with appointments!!! without a doubt madame wax will become the one stop 'professional' shop for these treatments and so they should!
