Absolutely amazing nails (acrylic overlay). Clean and professional location. I have been twice and each time iv loved the results. Currently writing this while I have a lovely spa pedicure. I have been to other salons previously and although the work has been OK, they have always been thick acrylic layers and very rushed. At Ella's you don't feel rushed, the nails are as close to a natural thickness. The whole experience is wonderful.

Amazing service! I have recently being visiting Ella's nail house for regular acrylic nails and absolutely love the place! I would consider myself fairly fussy and in the past have always been able to pick fault with the results from other salons in Colchester. I find the staff so attentive here, really professional and with an amazing attention to detail. The salon is not only relaxing, but spotlessly clean, a really friendly vibe and you even get offered refreshments! I would recommend this place to anyone, its a cut above the rest.

This nail salon is the best in Colchester that I’ve used and I’ve been to several. The salon itself has the highest standard of cleanliness. It is immaculate and beautifully decorated making for a lovely ambience while you are having your treatment. Ella and her team are excellent nail technicians and offer gel, acrylic, ombré and nail art. There is a vast choice of products and colours available. It is advisable to book as it does get very busy. You can walk in but please expect to wait as many customers do now book ahead of their visit. I have acrylic overlay on my natural nails and gel polish. I also have a full pedicure and gel toes. My elderly parents love going there too for their pedicures. The massage chairs are a lovely addition to the pedicure treatment, along with the delicious coffee and hot chocolate that is offered when you visit. Ella’s also offer a loyalty card, an added bonus when it’s a regular treatment. Nail treatments and hand creams are available to purchase. They accept card payments too!

All the staff are so friendly and talented. After moving to colchester I ALWAYS get my nails done here. It's a great experience, they have a huge selection of colours and glitters, and they also do designs very well. Ella makes sure she learns about every customer, and always asks us about uni and work etc when we go in. Thank you to Ella and her staff !

This is the 1st time I have used this nail salon. I had a wonderful time having a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. What a wonderful job they did. Lady that did my pedicure was amazing and my feet were extremely bad. Feel like a new woman, am definitely going back. Well worth the price

I’ve been going to Ella’s nail house for the past 10 months and can’t fault them. Ella is very professional, her salon is always clean and staff friendly. She is always happy to do requested designs. I usually go for acrylics and they last at least 4 weeks before I get infills. I’ve been going to other places previously, but this is the best in Colchester!

This is my first visit to Ella's and I can't recommend it enough. I don't have my nails done very often because I find the experience awkward and not enjoyable. That has all changed now, Ella's is in a lovely building and your warmly welcomed by Ella who is lovely. There is an awesome choice of nail colours, I was offered coffee and I chatted with Ella and the other client I will definitely be going back to fill up my loyalty card.

After a few bad experiences in other shops in the high street, I was overwhelmed by Ellas beautiful shop which is by far the cleanest in the area. On top of this the customer service was great, i felt so comfortable whilst getting my nails done and they really took their time to make sure the nails were perfect. They are very talented at what they do and i haven't stopped looking at my nails since i left. I can't wait to go back and use their service again. I highly recommend to anyone in the local area to choose this salon.

Lovely place to go get your nails done. Got gels on both toes and fingers was done really well and nice. Didn’t take too long either. Is a little more expensive then other places around but happy to pay as they do my nails better then anywhere else I’ve been to in the same area.

Results of my peddicure was good. The only thing is the owners friendly & lovely small child had a heavy cold, they was running around coughing and spluttering over people including myself several times. Not very relaxing. I understand needs must regarding childcare but considering what we have just been through with covid ...... This is just an observation and not criticising a small child.

I am a resident of Colchester for 4 years now but have struggled to find a nail bar that is warm clean & comfortable 😞 Finding Ella’s has literally made my whole year. Yesterday I had the most amazing spa pedicure with gel 😍 firstly the most warmest welcome the most beautiful nail shop I think personally in Colchester looks stunning! The amount of colours to choose from is amazing everything is so clean as well. From picking out which sent you would like in the water for your pedicure to being offered a drink the the wonderful massage chairs plus leg and food massage with oil. My nails look immaculate and my feet are super soft. Thank you can’t wait to come back for another plus mani next time x

I have recently moved to colchester for university after living in london. And Ella’s nails is the 3rd salon i am visiting after not the greatest experience from previous salons. And from the minute i walked in the atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL!! Its the most beautiful nail salon i have seen😍. The pedicure was the best i ever gotten, their attention to detail, delicate hand, hospitality was great! I was offered a drink or something warm to drink on arrival, they were extremely polite and the pedicure was sooooo relaxing! Daniel was very polite & he is really good at what he does💯 Will definitely be coming back!

Thanks to Ella for a lovely mani/pedi. Very professionally done. Ella was really friendly and her salon is spotless with lots of thoughtful touches. So nice to have a massage chair, tea and little chocs as you get your nails done. Also her shop has some gorgeous period features which really adds character to the salon. Nice and clean salon and a good service provided. Customer service needs improvement sadly. I requested a gel Pedicure and assumed this would be the standard treatment priced at 25 pounds. After the treatment I was asked to pay 38 pounds, and told I had recieved the 'spa pedicure'. I didn't ask for this. The Pedicure I recieved was nice but nothing extra compared to other services I've had before, other than a hot towel used to dry my feet at the end. It should have been clarified before the service started if I wanted the very overpriced spa Pedicure instead of the normal one I thought I was recieving. A shame as everything else was nice.
