Central location, limited on street parking however public car park 5minute walk away. Safe, clean, bright, friendly and welcoming. Hand sanitizer on main door, temperature checked on entry, screen in front of nail technician. All areas cleaned after previous clients. I mainly go for nail treatment, and as I usually have design already selected it never seems to cause any issue with Elaine. Overall love it hear if a little expensive for a monthly visit, would be good if they introduced loyalty scheme.

I waited a bit longer than usual but this is expected due to COVID and short staff. I experienced extra cleaning on my arrival. I barely felt any pain from my eyebrow wax today which was great and the use of make up as stand is an excellent way to reduce swelling and hide redness.

I’ve been going to Absolute for years for various beauty treatments and I’ve basically been through everyone in the shop for eyebrow waxing (basically because they’re all so good and that makes making an appointment easier) but Amanda is definitely my new favourite! I’ve been to her twice now and my eyebrows have been perfect each time! Such a modern shape and she never removes too much hair. She’s also SO lovely which makes the whole experience even better! <3

I had the "yummy mummy" massage package with Nikki. Nikki was excellent at the massage and very easy to chat with which makes you feel comfortable. Prior to entering the salon there is hand sanitiser outside the front door. Susan welcomed me as I entered the Salon, wearing her fetching mask and as there is no waiting area due to the Government COVID instructions I was taken through to the treatment room where she immediately sanitised her hands, then put on her gloves, any time the gloves were removed she again washed and sanitised before putting on fresh gloves. There was also a rigid plastic holder for clients to leave personal belongs which was cleaned after every treatment. I was having an Eye Brow top up and during the procedure Susan explained everything she was doing, taking time to listen to my preferences and giving me options and recommendations. Susan also discussed aftercare and by the time I returned home I had an email with these instructions. Although it wasn't a normal salon experience I was confident all the necessary precautions were being taken to safeguard clients and staff and would highly recommend Susan and Absolute for a beauty treatment.

I love this salon, the staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome and comfortable. It is the only place i would go in Dunfermline for treatments. The salon itself is really clean. As well as treatments they sell products too such as Bare Minerals. There is on-street parking just around the corner, or alternatively Leys Park car park is just at the bottom of Townhill road. You can also book appointments online to make booking easier. They open late a couple of days during the week as well.

I have gone to this salon since it first opened, just across the road from me. They have seen me through my wedding and two pregnancies, they have such a good selection of treatments to choose from, which means whatever you need or however you are feeling, they can help. I regurally get my eyebrows and eylashes waxed and tinted here with other treatments here and there, always friendly, warm and welcoming and happy to sit down with you to figure out what you need.
