L. D.I left the North East 3 years ago to work & tried a few places in Kent, they were twice the price and the quality was just awful. I have since made the trip to Durham to make sure that I get fantastic hair, with people who actually know what they are doing, the ladies at New U have years of experience and do whats right for their clients. Don't be tempted by the cheap priced adverts you will wreck your hair. Its worth the trip every time & I love coming to a lovely warm welcome from Simone and Christine.
H. C.When I reached 40 my hair suddenly lost its volume and shine , it seemed lank and no matter what style I tried I ended up disappointed with the results. This really started to affect my confidence, I hated going out socially and felt so low. I always had a preconceived around hair extensions and believed that they were for young girls with good hair naturally. I didn't want long flowing locks at my age, I wanted some thickness and to feel like me again. I contacted a few salons and quickly discovered that people were attending a one day course to qualify them to fit extensions. The majority of them were not hair dressers and I felt that they didn't understand what I wanted. I didn't trust them with my fine hair and felt quite intimidated with the hard sell . They were selling hair which was allegedly good quality, however on closer inspection it was only 10% real hair. I was so grateful when a friend introduced me to NewU Hair Extensions, Simone and Christine have been in the industry for for over 35 years each, both are qualified hairdressers and truly understand hair. The team at NewU are fantastic, they made me feel so welcome, the consultation was brilliant and I immediately felt confident that this would be an investment for me. It was instant, my hair looked so healthy, it shone, the colour match was fantastic and it looked like me on a fantastic hair day. I am a very private person and I didn't tell anyone about my extensions, I had endless compliments about my hair, friends asking me what I had done different, but the hair was so discreet not one person even asked if I was wearing extensions. I did eventually tell a few close friends and they were amazed . I do not wash my hair as much, which means that I am not using heat appliances daily like I used to be, my natural hair is getting thicker and the bonds mean that there is no damage . I find my hair style stays in much longer and I enjoy wearing it up as the bonds are so discreet it means that your hair is so versatile now. If you have never experienced a bad hair day or a sudden dip in confidence with your hair then you may find this review somewhat strange. However your hair is a huge part of who you are, you deserve to feel good about yourself and enjoy life. I have a new job now and spend the majority of my week lecturing and speaking to large groups, I feel amazing and I am so happy that two years ago I decided to invest in me. I know there are cheaper alternatives on the market, it really isn't worth the risk, your hair could be severely damaged and you will be disappointed with the results. I save every month for my hair as NewU offer a savings scheme and its worth every penny. I enjoy my appointments, the team are amazing and its a lovely experience . The aftercare and advice is brilliant. If anyone is experiencing similar issues or just feel sthat they need a boost then contact Simone. It truly is life changing . I used to think that confidence came from what others thought of me, but now I realise that it comes from within.

N. M.My hair has been transformed thanks to these lovely ladies! Thinning at the front and crown and it was really getting me down. Id tried loads of other things like hair fibres etc to try and disguise the thinning but thought id give the non surgical hair replacement a try. I wish i had done it sooner! Massively improved my confidence and everyone says it looks amazing and you wouldnt realise it wasnt my own hair its so natural looking and easy to maintain. Absolutely love it and highly recommend. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere too. Thanks again for making such a difference to my life.
