Simmy done the most wonderful job with my lash lift. She made me feel totally welcome and took the appropriate safety measures regarding the virus. Simmy also spent extra time on my lashes making sure they were separated and looked the best they possibly could - you can so tell she cares about her customers and her craft. I will absolutely be back, thank you so much! update april 6 2022: I had another appointment with Simmy and again, my results are as wonderful as ever. I have honestly never felt more at ease in a salon, i have found salons in the past to be quite intimidating, but Simmy makes sure im comfortable, she remembers things we'd spoken about in previous appointments, but also allows me to just sit and completely relax. I also really appreciate the constant updates to the Makeup & Beauty Bar website. You can tell how much time Simmy has spent both researching and explaining the procedures she offers in a way which customers can understand. I will never go anywhere else for beauty procedures. Simmy, thank you so much for giving me confidence - I shall be back soon! Nov 2022 PMU brows top up review: Genuinely if anybody is on the fence, PLEASE JUST DO IT! Simmy as always was wonderful. We worked together to find a brow shape that was best suited to my face, filled in the gaps where hair was missing and she colour matched so well. It felt like a colaborative process that we both cared about which was lovely as a client - I beyond happy with the results! I'm heavily tattood and even ill admit I was a little nervous about the pain, but Simmy put me at ease by talking me through the procedure and using the numbing cream throughout. The pain is so minimal that I could have fallen asleep, I'd aliken it to wee buzzy scratches. The healing processes was a doddle too. Simmy provides you with very detailed before/aftercare instructions, which set me up well for the final result. My brows are so much easier to maintain now too, as i just follow the shape! Waking up with perfect brows every morning and not having to spend money on brow products has been a dream. Thank you again Simmy 💓

I visited the salon on Saturday 26th March to have my makeup done for a very special wedding. As it was the first time ever having my makeup done I was both nervous and excited. There was no reason to be nervous as Simmy put me at ease as soon as I arrived making sure she knew the look I was wanting. My makeup was amazing I was complimented on it several times. I’ve been to Simmy for lash lifts in the past with great results, she is so attentive and makes you feel at ease. Such a perfectionist too and really cares about your experience and the outcome of your treatment. Simmy is detailed genuinely gives you the best result possible. I recently visited this salon for the first time for eyelash extensions Simmy the owner of the salon applied them and I have to say she did an amazing job. Was very pleased with them, I’ve had eyelash extensions done many times in other salons but this is definitely the best ever. Simmy definitely knows her stuff, she is trained to the highest standard. And she is happy to answer any questions you may have. Also the salon is very nice modern and clean. I would highly recommend this salon. I will definitely be back.

Couldn’t recommend Simmy enough! I rang for a last minute appointment (lashes) and she was so accommodating and managed to squeeze me in between appointments. I got half set of classics - honestly could barely notice the difference between a full set. So so lovely and so professional - have already booked in to get my eyebrows done next week. Make up & Beauty Bar is my number one choice when it comes to getting my make up done. I have been a couple of times now and though all of my looks have been absolutely stunning and glamorous, none of them have been the same. Simmy has an amazing creative view and has been able to amaze me every time whether I was looking for something to match my outfit or a theme to adjust to; she will come up with something that will fit what you're looking for as well as it will fit your natural features and face shape. She's very approachable, open-minded and flexible and basically everything you could look for in a make up artist. I would change my wedding date, just for her to do my make up!

A place that has been beautifully put together offering a wide range of beauty and hair treatments. My sister has had many treatments done there and I have had some male treatments and I must say the staff put you at ease. Unfortunately some people do not carefully read the online booking suggestions. Patch tests are carried out upon request and not to mention for Free! Will keep going and will forever recommend!

It was absolutely amazing, I was very nervous for my first Hollywood waxing but the person who did it was very kind and empathic, kept talking to me and assuring me, and it really didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would - no doubt it does more credit to how professional the person was than my pain tolerance (which is Astronomically low). Will definitely go there again!!!!

Simmi did my facial and she was very professional and diligent. She did a really good job treating my dry skin and my skin looks and feels a lot better now!
