Wonderful place. Hard to get to from the west coast though. Wish they had a Glasgow branch. Everyone is very nice and after a few treatments you get to know each other. Lindsay was terrific as always, and this was my least painful session yet. I shall miss her dearly. And then there is Calhey, who is amazing on reception, and should be running the whole place. She is so good. We've become mates and she has good banter and makes the experience fun. Wonderful accent too! 😉 Highly recommended for any other trans women thinking of hair removal but don't want the murderous pain of IPL, and for great company. 5 stars! It's a home away from home for me.

I think Erica is a very skilled therapist. She knows what she’s talking about. Gradually my lockdown skin has been improving since my facials with Erica. She is particularly skilled at extraction facials. As someone who is a bit of a clean freak, I find her attention to cleanliness and general hygiene very reassuring too. Erica is very pleasant to chat to, and just the right amount too which I find relaxing (I’ve had experience where some therapists just talk at you).

I’ve been a regular client of Yuu Beauty since the salon very first opened. They have a great variety of treatments and services. Their waxing services are excellent, with the option to go for Lycon wax, which I highly recommend for bikini waxing. My favourite treatments to get are one of their facials, both the Medical Microdermabrasion and Dermaquest custom facials are fabulous! My skin always thanks me after! On top of this the customer service at this location is outstanding. All the team are very friendly and welcoming.

The girls were excellent , very knowledgeable about what they were saying & friendly . I felt at total ease with them Even although they must be super busy - you wouldn’t have thought , with the time they both took - to explain things to me & showing total care to their customer. I revisited Yuu Beauty for the Veinaway treatment for skin tags. I cannot recommend this treatment highly enough. It took less than half an hour and was virtually pain free. Poppy put me at ease throughout and was very thorough. The treatment was good value for money too.

I have just read a misleading review of this salon. Nail techs are given a set time for a treatment and if you are asking for your free "little extras" then she will have to do the treatments a little faster as she does have other clients after you, or do you want to use their time also? I understand you are unhappy about losing your perks you had with the other nail tech that has left. Being blackmailed by a notoriously difficult client into providing free treatments incase of a bad review is a low blow and amounts to nothing but bullying. I find these review sites helpful but unfair at time as the person has no option to comment on the personal and hurtful views of one person. This is the nail techs first month at this salon, having came from a place that has never had a nail complaint. As for "training" she is a fully qualified senior therapist having graduated at the highest level. You took an instant dislike to the new nail tech, perhaps you don't like the alternative look? Hopefully Sara Mazzane, you will think twice before throwing somebody else's reputation under the bus so you can bag yourself some freebies.

I had a back massage and facial with Jane and I can honestly say it was the most relaxing and benefial treatment I've had in a very long time. Jane listened to what I wanted, check the pressure was right and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The room and bed were cosy and the music was just right to help me unwind. There's free parking on the street outside and if you sign up for their newsletter they always have offers and deals on to take advantage of.

Little slice of heaven! I visit Yuu for facials and massages and they are honestly the best in Edinburgh. My favourite is the medical microdermabrasion which always leaves my skin so fresh and glowy! I've had microdermabrasion at other salons before which definitely weren't as good or as enjoyable, at Yuu they even give you a wee shoulder and neck massage to top it off! I also get my eyebrows done here and I wouldn't let anyone else touch them now. All the girls are lovely and welcoming, making every trip to Yuu a fab one. They are always introducing new treatments here too, can't wait to try Dermapen and CACI in the near future #addictedtoyuu
