I needed some skin tags and seborrheic warts removed. I looked up several places on line which were very expensive, charging large consultation fees and charged per skin tag which would have ended up costing me thousands of pounds. I then found About Face, which had good reviews and very fair pricing. It was easy to book an appointment, and I had the first consultation and advanced electrolysis treatment in one appointment. The whole centre is very clean and welcoming, the staff are friendly and professional. Anne did my treatments and explained everything very well, gave me leaflets and was very kind and calm throughout the whole process, she was very professional and very careful with cleanliness throughout. I was very impressed and I am a retired nurse. I would definitely recommend About Face for quality affordable treatment, given by friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff . Thank you Anne for making my neck and cleavage smoother and for getting rid of the ugly Seborrheic Warts!!!

Excellent service, well trained and skilled staff carrying out a range of services, Electrolysis specialists offering a permanent hair removal process. This can be carried out for lots of reasons cosmetic or medical. After a sidious amount of Electrolysis (66 hours) I can safely say about face is wonderful. All the staff are fantastic, friendly and so welcoming. As a transwoman who was finding her feet about face have been so lovely to me and given me amazing treatment with wonderful effects. I have been going for electrolysis every two weeks at About Face 2 august 2021. It is always clean, everyone is very nice and professional. Of course, the procedure is long and hurts, but they all have been extremely nice and helpful, answered all my questions, recommending me numbing cream and products to help the healing process… And never ever shamed me about anything. I have met so many professionals who had disrespectful comments about my hairs, or even just despising looks… never at About Face. Never anyone there questioned my choices or my knowledge about my own health, which is SO REFRESHING (to give you an example because I know it is a very vulnerable position to be in and some of you might be anxious about it/ had bad experience in other salons so it might help to get examples for you to feel safer to go… for instance, I have PCOS. I know that for people like me, laser and IPL have risks of paradoxical hair growth, and it is a very little known fact, even by professionals. On my first appointment, the person who took me in advised me laser given the large zone to cover; I told her about my worries, and she said « no worries, I didn’t know about this, and never had the case. However, know electrolysis might be longer and more expensive for you, but if it’s what you feel more comfortable with, let’s do electrolysis ». Whereas another salon that is closer to my home told me the month before that I was wrong (i’m not), and that it was IPL or nothing, disregarding my feelings and knowledge of my own condition i have been doing research on for almost 10 years.). For your information as well, English is not my first language and they always made sure i understand everything. Also, I have seen online many recommendations by trans people looking for a safe place to get hair removal, and I have never witnessed an ounce of homophobia, transphobia or racism there. Anyway, I would recommend About face to anyonelooking for a safe, friendly, professional place. Thank you again to the whole team, you are changing my life ❤️

This clinic is very clean and a lovely place to have treatment. All staff are highly qualified and very professional. I have been in for treatments and have been asked in for training which was a lovely touch. The girl that was training was fully qualified, but due to the high standards of the clinic all new staff have to go through in house training. I had a fantastic facial, massage, and file&polish on fingers/toes all free of charge!!

I would highly recommend Aboutface.. excellent customer service from every visit I have had they are great from treatment to aftercare. I was worried about getting some skin tags removed but my therapist put my mind at ease and answered all my questions explaining the procedure before starting unlike some places that rush through it. I have also attended their open day look out for them you won’t be disappointed great way to see all different treatments you might be interested in some great deals too. Such a lovely calm atmosphere I will certainly be returning.

I've been to About face a few times now, I have always had a warm welcome. The treatments carried out have been very professional and the therapists have put my mind at ease. I love that they take time to find out exactly what you want from your treatment and that you can purchase some of the products you have used on you. I would definitely reccomend them and they are reasonably priced too.

As a guy who'd never been anywhere remotely like this I expected to feel 'incongruous' at best; but the staff and the general atmosphere managed to make me feel very relaxed. Everything was explained in detail and they managed to make what is undeniably an 'uncomfortable' procedure feel as quick and painless as possible. I would (and am) go again.

I went here for treatment today. The women who performed the treatment was absolutely lovely. The reception staff were okay but not as chatty and welcoming as the nurse who performed the treatment. Overall it was a great experience and I will come back for more treatments.

Helen, Amanda, Anne, Laura, Kerri & Nicole are first class & highly skilled at Electrolysis, just be careful who your therapist is & head to Facebook reviews for FROM THE HEART TRUTH. I am not being spiteful in anyway or form just the truth. Suicide attempts over one bad electrolysis session...speaks volumes Helen I never felt that way with any of my other therapists. So please anyone looking for truth about electrolysis at About Face check out About Face on Facebook... review by Amanda McKenzie....it was a heartbreaker.

Had my first facial with Debra this week. Highly experienced and professional staff who are kind, helpful and know their onions. The galvanic facial was dreamy and so relaxing, and I appreciate how the therapist was respectful and kind.
