I am a trans woman and finished my IPL course on the NHS and it was actually one of the nurses who suggested Liz and her team when I was running up to the end of my course. Results were instantly noticeable compared to IPL. After the second treatment I started to notice reduced hair regrowth. Liz is an expert in her field, and it shows in the work that she and her team carry out. The pay as you go plan is flexible and convenient. It just makes sense. The elimination of a scary 4 figure sum makes treatment seem less of a commitment. I could not recommend them enough and will continue to go to them for the foreseeable future.

I started my laser journey 2 years ago with therapie clinic paying for a block of 6 sessions and then an additional 3 sessions with seeing hardly any results despite being a perfect candidate for laser (light skin dark hair) I decided to go with Liz after being recommended by a friend. I've been trying to hide the fact I have dark hairs on my face and chin for as long as I can remember. I tried shaving, waxing, hair removal cream and plucking. All of which left me with irritation, breakouts, ingrown hairs and broken skin. And a lot of wasted time. I fully embraced wearing a face mask because it let me hide my 5 o'clock shadow. I've had two sessions with Liz at MOL so far and already see a massive difference. Most of the jaggy, thick, wiry hairs under my chin are already gone and my skin is so much smoother. Liz is amazing. She puts you at ease and lets you know exactly what to expect. The clinic itself is a lovely, calm environment. And it's right in the heart of the city, so easy to get to. As for the laser treatment, I found it to be much less painful than trying to pluck out stubborn hairs. I can imagine in more sensitive areas it could be a bit stingy, but no worse than waxing. The laser machine blasts cold air, which was a nice surprise. If you're considering laser hair removal and looking for a professional, friendly, knowledgeable specialist with extremely reasonable prices, Liz is a great choice.

Could not more highly recommend Ministry of Laser! Liz is THE biggest sweetheart in the world! I’m SUPER shy and self conscious when it comes to my excess hair and have always waxed/shaved myself. It grows so fast and is so dark which is great for lasering, but the biggest pain for everyday life! Shave in the morning, prickly by night, and don’t even get me started on the ingrown hairs ugh. I had previously gotten maybe a combined total of a dozen laser treatments by 2 different companies in the U.S. (only under my arms) with about an 80% hair reduction, then we moved to Glasgow and I switched back to shaving. I couldn’t take it anymore and set up my consultation with Liz. She explained everything so thoroughly. Also took a look at my hair that had been previously lasered and was so disappointed with the money I had wasted with improper treatment and the amount of hair that was still present under my arms that she said should definitely be gone by now with how many treatments I have had. I was so comfortable with her, I decided to do my full body. I got my first treatment and could not be more thrilled, I just want to cry!!!! Not only did she handle all insecurities so professionally, just like she said it would, after 2 weeks, the hair started to fall out!! What a dream, I have never experienced anything like that. So. Following recommendations from a couple of satisfied previous (and current) clients I decided to go for It. As a brunette in my mid 40's I have spent far, far too much time and money on hair removal treatments. Looking at laser therapy I was apprehensive for all the usual reasons I suspect - 1) how much pain was involved? 2) finding a practicioner I could trust 3) then cost and effectiveness of the treatment As a nurse myself, I decided to go with Elizabeth due to her NHS background as well as her vast beauty therapy experience. I'm not finished my treatments quite yet but I can categorically say I have made the right decision. A beautifully presented, clean stylish unit in a gorgeous old building - great first impression. A friendly, professional therapist who puts you at ease - thank goodness. Pain not an issue. Results visible from 1st treatment which will definitely prove to be cost effective.
