Tina is very attentive and will fully listen to and address any concerns you may have. I always look forward to each session as she has the best chat! G. T.I have been going to Tina for a few years now and it has honestly been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had a bad experience with electrolysis previously, and now I would never go to anyone other than Tina for any hair removal treatments. Initially, I started off getting my upper lip treated, and have since added 4 other areas. Not all lasers are the same and Tina uses the latest technology, frequently updating her machine, and you will notice a huge difference after just a couple of sessions. This has made my unwanted hair so much more manageable and has improved my confidence hugely. Not only is Tina exceptional at what she does, she puts you at such ease straight away and she is a lovely person to talk to. C.I have started my laser treatment a couple of months ago and I have had two sessions with Tina at the Glasgow west end clinic, it is a nice space, Tina is really lovely and the treatment is great, it is not painful and it is quite quick, and it doesn’t irritate my skin. I am Spanish with quite white skin and dark hair and the treatment so far is working great for me. I started noticing some results from first treatment like slower hair growth. r. h.I have recently had my second session with Tina and I cannot recommend her services enough. I was very apprehensive about having laser hair removal due to the number of ingrown hairs I have and was embarrassed to show anyone this. Tina made we feel most at welcome and very comfortable in her clinic. I normally have to shave my underarms every second day and after my first session I didn’t have to shave for 3 weeks. The main thing for me I was suffering from 2/3 ingrown hairs per month and after 2 months have not had a single ingrown hair. My results speak for them self. I wish I had done it years ago. I am currently 28 years of age and for the last 10 years I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to have treatment on the NHS (Despite numerous referrals).
Prior to this I had suffered in silence from the age of 14 when I could not speak about my problem to anyone and literally suffered in silence, too embarrassed and thinking I was the only one with this condition (PCOS).
I was made to feel that I was a 'freak' due to derogatory comments made by 'inconsiderate associates' which was humiliating and made me very sad. 6 years ago My Parents paid for private IPL treatments over a period of 18months, Although these treatments helped they were no where near as effective as the treatments I have received at your clinic Tina, Which has been absolutely amazing. Although I was initially a bit anxious about having this treatment done, Tina helped me to relax and answered all the questions I had which put my mind at rest. I actually looked forward to each of my visits because Tina was so friendly and engaging and it made the whole experience a really good one. I am really pleased with the results and wish I had done it earlier which would have put a stop to years of covering up and endlessly trying to work out timings for waxing appointments before holidays and important events to ensure I could wear dresses etc. I would definitely recommend to others who were in a similar situation. A. M.Been having laser hair removal on my face at Tina O'Doherty's at the Falkirk clinic after suffering with PCOS for years, first off Tina is great! Put me at ease from my first phonecall explained everything in detail and invited me for a patch test, i had my patch test and was to go back 2 weeks later for the first full treatment, after reading some reviews online about laser hair removal and PCOS i was expecting to have to wait until a good few treatments to notice a difference but i noticed a difference on the place i had my patch test before i actually went for my first proper session!
I am now 2 full sessions done and the difference already is amazing, i wish i had discovered this place years ago.
Pain wise its a bit sore but only while getting it done goes away straight after so its bearable while getting done, i would honestly advise anyone suffering with unwanted hair to try it, and if you want someone whos going to make you feel comforable and do a great job then Tinas is the place to go!
B.I have had 2 of my 6 laser sessions so far, one in Edinburgh and one in Glasgow, and so far I am really impressed with this clinic. I was unsure at first due to lack of online reviews but Tina was happy to give me a patch test before I committed to anything and put me totally at ease during my first treatment. The clinic itself was lovely, clean and spacious. The service in the Glasgow clinic was again super friendly and really put me at ease during what can be a painful process. In terms of results I am already happy with how much hair growth rate has slowed down after 2 months and really excited for the end result.
T. H.I can't believe how well the treatment has worked and wish I had decided to this clinic sooner. I used to spend at least an hour every night plucking coarse black hairs from my chin, jaw and upper lip, which in itself caused more problems with ingrowing hairs.
I suffer with PCOS and the hairs made me feel so self conscious for over 20 years. I can honestly say that this treatment has been a fantastic success and I feel so much better about how my face looks.
J. A.After years of being mocked and bullied at primary school for facial hair I have always been extremely self conscious. After years my hair began to get worse and worse especially when on contraception.
My underarms and leg hair was a nightmare and I was shaving almost every single day! My leg hair was so bad and legs were in such a bad condition with rashes from shaving so much! It took a huge toll on my life and I was extremely self conscious and had very low self esteem!
I have finished now completely with my laser removal on my face and the difference is fantastic I have absolutely no facial hair under my neck or chin and even when there is a growth on my upper lip it is one or two small and very unnoticeable hairs - this is a huge improvement as it was very noticeable and spent around £50 a month getting my upper lip and chin waxed.
I have now started treatment on my underarm and legs I have seen a HUGE improvement after just one session I literally cannot believe the difference I am in shock. It's coming in so fine and I haven't had to shave in 3 weeks considering I shaved every day I can't believe!
My underarm the black/dark marks where there even when I shaved you could still notice this huge mark now I shave once a week and still to get 5 more treatments this is amazing for me I feel so much more confident on nights out, going to the gym, swimming and just in general I don't have to worry about the next time I shave!
I've noticed a difference not buying new razors every week and waxing weekly it's a huge investment and life changing.
Staff at Glasgow clinic have been fantastic and I have never once felt embarrassed Rhona is brilliant and I'd highly recommend!
