She is so lovely and put me at ease straight away by going through everything in detail so that when it came to having the treatment I knew exactly what to expect. She talked me through every step and it wasn't at all painful. Because Janey had explained everything so well I had a really good experience which I wish I'd had done years ago. I was so pleased to have someone be honest with me at last!! I am 57 and have lost quite a lot of volume from my face. It is looking a bit saggy and jowly, Yuk! Anyway, I have spent the last few years having fillers with virtually no effect on my face, plenty on my purse! Other clinics have been happy to take my money with false promises of good results. Dr Sandy told me straight away that fillers were not the answer for me and would have little result. I wish I had gone here first, would have saved me a lot of money. Dark haired girl problems. If you know what I mean, please keep reading.... For those who have looked in the mirror and wished the hair on her top lip was gone. For the waxers and the pluckers, the bleachers and the foundation-cakers there is a solution. A simple life change that, if you think you need it, almost guarantees happiness. And that's Health Counts. It worked for me! I used to have a hairy lip, and worse a hairy chin. Thinking about it now takes me back to days lacking confidence, days of hoping that it wouldn't show through my makeup or grow back too fast after whatever I'd done at home failed to rectify the problem, yet again. Then I found out about a laser clinic just down the road, with a promise of a permanent fix at a reasonable price. I thought it sounded too good to be true, I really did, but now I thank myself that I went there anyway. Because that led to my first meeting with the Alexandrite laser - the bad boy hair destroyer on a mission to create smooth skin. It works. Honestly, it does exactly what it is supposed to!! I can't really say anything more meaningful than the laser does get rid of hair. And mine isn't growing back either!!! So with all of that said, I've not yet mentioned the best thing about Health Counts, and that's the people working there. Sarah and her team, for me, go beyond being professional to offer what I'd say is a truly personal experience. I've met quite a few of the staff, and have been treated by Janey, and have always been truly impressed by their friendliness; and how they listen and advise and offer a really tailored service. I do feel that my treatments are exclusively for me, if that makes sense!! I get the impression that someone else, maybe you if you're reading this and are interested, may have slightly different treatments and recommendations - but I do think it would be right for them (or you). Plus everything is done with a smile, a kind word and a cup of tea so I don't think you can go wrong!!! For me having facial hair was horrible; I hated it and I wanted it gone. Getting rid of it was an important stage of my personal journey, and to me it was something essential. In terms of the actual money cost, I think Health Counts prices are reasonable. But then I thought about how that cost can be broken down. For me, now I have been treated, each day is that little bit better than the days before. It really is something that I gain from, in some ways, 24/7; 365 days a year. Which means the value to me is so much more than I've paid for the treatments. So much more. Honestly, this may be of no interest to you. But if something I've said is meaningful for you, I really would say give laser a try. And there's nowhere better round here!!! Mel
