I recently moved to The Waxing Spa after having waxing at another salon for a few years and never being happy with the quality of the wax there. I have to say I have been absolutely blown away by the service at the Waxing Spa. Even after the first wax (swapping from shaving) the results were AMAZING! De doesn't miss a hair and gets you perfectly smooth everywhere! She's also really nice and friendly and puts you at ease. The Salon itself is conveniently located in the city centre and beautiful, clean and relaxing- I was actually falling asleep during my second leg wax! The convenience of online booking is also really useful. I will never go anywhere else for my waxing now!

What a lovely service. De is the most amazing, loving and caring person you can find. She will take really good care of you. I was always shaving until a friend told me to try waxing. I was so scare of the pain, but De was so great and took great care of me, now I come once a month to get waxed. Very happy and satisfied with the service and the quality of the wax. De has different types os waxes and she chooses very careful where and when to use each wax to maximise hair removal and minimise pain. The online booking also makes my life so easy. I went to The Waxing Spa after lockdown, with months of shaving I was worried that it would be quite painful, but De made my experience as comfortable as possible. De is very professional and has a great technique, I have tried to find a good waxing salon for so long in Liverpool and I would have to say De is the best I have gone to so far, because of her technique and customer service. I just had my third wax and cannot believe the results!!! The hair has already gone so soft and grows back so slowly, which is amazing because I have really thick dark hair. Finally, the salon has gorgeous décor, super clean and always smells lovely! Thank you so much De you are a superstar!!

I absolutely recommend getting waxed here. Brilliant results that last for a long time. I have dark skin and very coarse hair, so I was wonderfully advised to try the hot wax and WOW! The results speak for themselves - no ingrown hairs AND the new hairs were so much finer! This meant the next waxing appointment was less painful (hardly painful!). I was given advice to look after the waxing site too, which helped. The spa is stunning and very clean! Very easy to find and I always have a pleasant experience. Very kind and genuinely interested in your day too, which makes the visit even more relaxing. Superb! 10/10, especially if you’re a black woman. Very hard to find a professional who truly cares. I won’t be going anywhere else!

I have been going to De for years now since my sister recommend her. I have never found anywhere as good no matter where I have lived and have always ended up travelling back to go to her. She's really knowledgable about different techniques and types of waxes, which has been great for getting a good finish with my mixed raced hair (which many other beauty therapists have struggled with). Very clean! She was very fast and did not need to go over the same patch multiple times, which shows how professional she is. I can also appreciate that it can get tiresome to have a personal conversation with each client but it really makes you feel welcome when someone is willing to listen and create a comfortable environment!

The best wax I've ever had! It's the professionalism, technique, and expertise for me. Being Spanish, we can appreciate good quality waxing, and have been changing salons for years because I was never happy with the result. If you are looking for the perfect waxing salon, look no further and book with De. Today she did an amazing job, very thorough and extremely attentive to detail. She uses a type of wax that does not hurt at all, and her technique is unique and completely different to other beauticians that have not only hurt, but also bruised or burnt me badly. I have thick black hair and normally get chicken skin after for hours, but I have to say, that has completely gone by now. Also, beautiful and clean salon. The service I have received here on multiple occasions is always 10/10 - I literally wouldn’t trust anybody else! I had been to people prior who had done a rubbish job and left me in pain with irritated skin as they did not care about the client only the payment. I originally went to De as she only uses natural products which are very beneficial for me as I have sensitive skin. De has always been very patient and reassuring throughout the treatments and won’t let you leave unless it looks perfect ! Always goes the extra mile and even offered me a new product to try free of charge which was amazing. I recommend the waxing spa to everyone as you will not find anywhere else that makes the treatments so comfortable as well as leaving with the best results. De also provides guidance on aftercare / maintenance and when is best to schedule another appointment to make the treatment as painless as possible. I really would not go anywhere else. The waxing spa has also recently relocated to the most gorgeous location l can’t wait for my next appointment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had messed up a home wax on my arms and legs, and tried to fix it with a shave - bad idea! I had rashes, hairs coming in at different lengths, and millions of ingrowns (ok maybe it wasn't millions). De sorted it out like it was nothing, even took the time to individually tweeze out the tiny tiny hairs that were on their way to becoming ingrown. Worth noting too that the smoothness lasted ages and I'm a person whose hair grows in fast, dark, and wirey. They grew back in mostly fine and soft. I think it was about 2 weeks before the hair became noticeable to me, and a month before I considered bookings the next appointment (which for me is amazing, I usually have carpet legs after 2 weeks-ish). Also worth mentioning that De's great for a chat while she's going ten rounds with your hair. Couldn't recommend more :)

I was a bit nervous about waxing before going to Deva because I had had some bad experiences. Deva makes you feel so comfortable and she is such a lovely person and has been very accommodating when booking appointments. I also experienced much less pain and better longer lasting results. Before coming here I only had hard wax, Deva uses natural wax and it is SO much better, it may be because I am used to being waxed, but I don't even wince with the pain. Hard wax also takes time to dry before you can take it off, this means Deva's natural waxing takes 10, maybe 15 minutes at the most!! I've been to many other places around the North for a wax and have never found anyone as quick, efficient, thorough and pain free as Deva, she is personable and friendly to boot, can not recommended enough!!
