Always a great service. Very happy with shellac pedicure. Hate the ‘cheese grater’ part but feet and toes always look so refreshed and pretty after a pedi here. Yes cashless is a pain like most of these nail places, but as long as you know you can plan ahead. Thanks as always

I got a Hollywood wax and shellac manicure and pedicure done. It was the quickest wax I’ve ever had and cheaper than other places (so points for that) but as I thought, wasn’t the best wax in terms of actual hair removal. When I get home I saw there were still hairs on my backside and the hairs on my front hadn’t been entirely removed in parts. I was going on holiday the next day so I just had to fix it myself by shaving the remaining hair. Not what I expected. I normally use a different location but couldn’t due to the last minute nature of my need for a wax! Next time I will stick with what I know and pay that little bit more. However it was very fast in terms of having me seen for my wax and mani pedi. Nothing negative to say about the mani pedi - it was really good! I was seen very quickly and I’m happy with my nails. Additionally, it’s a bit inconvenient that they’re cash only. I had to go home to get my card to then withdraw cash just to pay. In 2021 contactless should be a thing everywhere (especially with COVID)!

Had acrylics and gel polish done here over a month ago and hasn’t chipped at all. I’m pretty hard on my nails so very impressed. Not really a relaxing spa atmosphere if that’s what you’re looking for, but efficient, excellent value, and great results.

Today I had a full set of powder gel nail extensions done and I love them! The girl doing my nails was extremely professional and did a wonderful job. The receptionist was extremely friendly and chatty, keeping up nice friendly conversation throughout my treatment. I was very happy with the price - £25 for a full set of powder gel extensions with a good choice of top quality nail polishes. I will definitely be coming back again.

The best salon I've been to, chose this as my regular salon after several bad experiences in other ones near me and I am never disappointed. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, they know me as a regular and I always feel comfortable there. BEST place to get your eyebrows done, they have never ruined my brows or made them look bad which I really appreciate - their nail service is also great and I always get my nails done here. I've had bad eyebrow and nail experiences in other salons which drove me to change and I have not regretted my decision. Would definitely recommend.

Their beautician are really lovely and friendly. They always have a welcoming atmosphere from front of house to staff. I love coming here to get my nails and waxing done as it is a convenient spot right next to Balham Tube station. The price is affordable with amazing qualities. Always recommended!

A fantastic experience as always. Excellent Lycon Hollywood wax and as painless as is possible to be. Loved my shellac manicure ,Brilliant - lasted over two weeks and looked still lovely! I have been coming here for a few years for shellac manicure and waxing, also massages next door at Herbs and Harmony (same owner). Very good salon with lovely, professional staff. Jen always does my nails, she is excellent (shellac lasts a long time and she paints it perfectly). I really recommend this place! I normally see Komal for waxing, I recommend her, but tbh they are all great

The receptionist is absolutely rude and abrupt. I asked about eyebrows threading and she pointed to the chair and said ‘seat!’ So I did. The professional that does threading listed to my requests and she did an ok job. Most of the others salons will NOT listen to you at all and just make super thin eyebrows and she didn’t. So good for this but oh boy they need to learn about customer service for sure. Update: I had to come back here as I had no other options for an upper lip wax. Same horrible service from the receptionist. She basically just order you to seat, no manners at all.

Love the place! Better to book if going over weekends. Ladies are nice and most of them good. Prices low and treatment rooms clean and comfy! Unfortunately during last pedicure, the only man working there scratched my ankle really badly and denied doing it so will avoid him from now on!

I had a great shellac manicure with Jessica, she is very neat and does enough layers so that it isn't streaky or see-through. I also only have 2 bubbles with are like black spots from what I can only guess is air getting trapped in between the layers. The last time I came I wasn't very happy so this completely made up for it. I go here a lot because it is closest to my house, but if it was bad again I wouldn't have gone back. The only constructive feedback would be that usually the hand massage part is better at the end. I think this finishes the service nicely. I will definitely ask for Jessica next time.

This is my 1st time visiting Anya's nail salon,had the best experience ever, place was decorated beautifully plus everyone was very friendly. The Chinese receptionist was really nice and helpful informed me I need to wait abit longer as my appointment was run over, I didn't mind because as I didn't mentioned they were very busy but the wait was worth it!! I have been a regular customer of Anya beauty salon for now over 4 years. I mainly go there for pedi and waxing. With regards to the pedi I choose Shellac which is great to last but a pity beauticians do not apply polish flawlessly. There are always spots missed at the base of the nails to make it look perfect. Plus you need to properly ask for foot scrubbing as some skip it in order to go fast. For the waxing I was always thinking « ok you have what you pay for » (32£ a hollywood lycon, which is ok) until I had Valentina. She is a goddess nothing else. All the other girls make you suffer like hell ´coz they would not let the wax cool down properly, and insists on pulling on a wax that you can call more a chewing gum than a wax, and believe me even if they work fast, it’s 10mins of intense pain. Valentina on the other hand will proceed gently, not applying ridiculously long and larges sections of wax, and will let the wax dry. Massive difference and painless experience. She will give you proper advises, be friendly and weirdly it doesn’t take longer. It’s the 2nd time I have Valentina and I will make her my only waxing beautician. Other than that Anya is a decent salon with wide range of beauty choice and they always make their best to accomodate a last minute appointment.
